Bali Youth Adventure - 12 Days

Upon arrival in the coastal town of Canggu, you’ll find yourself surrounded by world-class beaches like Echo Beach and Batu Balong, renowned for their surfing. The streets are lined with Bali's finest restaurants, trendy bars, and vibrant local markets. Your hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach.

You can choose to try surfing or simply watch others ride the waves. In the evening, we’ll meet our group for the first time with a rooftop sunset drink, followed by an included welcome dinner at the hotel.

Please also note: This tour stays in a mixture of hotels and hostels and is designed for younger travellers looking for a backpacker-style experience and to meet like-minded people. The average age on this tour is around 21 - 35, and we are unfortunately unable to take any travellers over the age of 45. Surf’s up! Get ready to ride the waves as we take you to some of Bali’s best-kept secrets, away from the crowds. With the guidance of one of our expert instructors, you’ll have the chance to surf in peaceful, pristine spots and experience the thrill of the ocean.

After your surf session, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Relax on the beach, join a yoga class, or catch more waves if you're feeling adventurous. In the evening, we’ll gather to review your surf photos over dinner (not included), rounding off your last night in Canggu in style.

Canggu - Pemuteran. This morning, we’ll embark on a scenic drive from Canggu to Pemuteran, a peaceful coastal village celebrated for its natural beauty and tranquil vibe. As we journey through the lush landscapes of rural Bali, we’ll be surrounded by rolling hills and vibrant greenery, making it a truly picturesque experience.

Upon arriving in Pemuteran, we’ll check into our charming eco-lodge and have the afternoon free to relax and explore. Whether you prefer taking a leisurely stroll through the village, unwinding on the quiet beaches, or simply enjoying the calm surroundings at our accommodation, the choice is yours.

For those wanting a little extra relaxation, you can treat yourself to a soothing massage. Alternatively, you might feel inspired to join a Canang Sari class, where you can discover the intricate art of Bali’s traditional offering-making.

Pemuteran - Menjangan Island - Pemuteran. Today, we’re in for an exciting adventure as we head out to explore the surrounding reefs of Menjangan Island. Part of Bali West National Park, Menjangan Island stretches from the mainland and is renowned for its natural beauty.

We’ll spend the day snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by vibrant reefs and a rich array of marine life. If the tide allows, we’ll enjoy a peaceful lunch on the island, where we might even encounter the native deer that roam freely here.

As part of our journey, we’ll also visit the incredible Biorock Project – the world’s largest coral planting initiative – to see firsthand the inspiring efforts to restore the reef’s delicate ecosystem.

Pemuteran - Ubud. Today, we say goodbye to the tranquil seaside village of Pemuteran as we set off on our journey to Ubud. Our first stop is the beautiful, hidden Banyumala Waterfalls, where we can marvel at the cascading waters surrounded by lush greenery. Here, we’ll meet a local family who will share their cherished coffee-making traditions, a craft they have honed over nearly a century. We'll enjoy an included lunch at the plantation.

After lunch, we continue our journey to Ubud, famed for its vibrant arts scene and lush jungle surroundings. Once we arrive, we will check into our accommodation and you will be able to enjoy some free time to explore Ubud’s bustling markets, peaceful temples, or treat yourselves to a relaxing massage, or you can also simply unwind and soak in the town's unique atmosphere.

Today, we’ll experience the highlights of Ubud. We’ll start by visiting the Monkey Forest Temple, where we can meet some playful furry friends. Next, we’ll head to the iconic Tegallalang Rice Terraces, a picturesque spot perfect for those unforgettable Instagram shots. After that, we’ll visit a sacred water temple, where we’ll make an offering and take part in a traditional water purification ceremony.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. You might want to explore local coffee plantations and sample the world’s most expensive coffee, try the famous Instagram swing, join a yoga class, or treat yourself to a soothing massage.

We’ll rise early to embark on the hike up Mount Batur, a truly otherworldly experience. The hike itself is relatively short but steep, taking us to a prime spot at the viewpoint where we’ll watch the sunrise while enjoying a well-earned cup of coffee. With clear skies and perfect weather, it’s sure to be an unforgettable moment, almost as if we’ve stepped onto another planet.

After sunrise, we’ll make our way to the edge of the crater, where we’ll be rewarded with a 360-degree view of Batur Lake, surrounded by stunning landscapes and villages. The panoramic scenery will be the perfect way to conclude this incredible adventure. After the hike you will have the rest of the day at your leisure to further explore, enjoy a massage, join a yoga class or enjoy some relaxtaion by the pool club.

Ubud - Sanur - Nusa Penida. Today, we’ll make our way to Sanur, where we’ll take a short ferry to Nusa Penida. Once we’ve checked into our boutique hotel, we’ll set off to explore the island’s best sights.

With cameras in hand, we’ll visit Kelingking Beach, a stunning cliffside spot with turquoise waters and a T-Rex-shaped rock formation; Broken Beach, a natural archway with crystal-clear water that creates a serene and picturesque scene; and Angel Billabong, a unique natural infinity pool carved into the rock, offering breathtaking views.

Our day will come to a close with a breathtaking sunset at Crystal Bay, the perfect way to end this unforgettable day.

Today, we’ll embark on a private boat trip to discover the breathtaking, hidden bays of Nusa Penida. Our captain will guide us to the best snorkelling spots, offering the chance to see Manta Bay, along with exotic fish, turtles, and more.

The highlight of our journey will be visiting Manta Bay, renowned for having one of the highest populations of Manta Rays in the world. Snorkelling with these magnificent creatures is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we’ll ensure it’s done in an ethical way that respects the natural lives of the Mantas.

Afterward, we’ll head to the East side of the island to visit the stunning Diamond Beach Viewpoint.

Nusa Penida - Gili Trawangan. Our next destination is Gili T, well-known for its incredible snorkelling, abundant sea turtles, and buzzing nightlife. After a short ferry ride from Nusa Penida, we’ll check into our accommodation and enjoy lunch (not included) before setting out to explore the island. As there are no cars on the island, we’ll get around by bike.

We can spend some time unwinding at the hotel beach club, relaxing by the pool with beautiful ocean views. Later, we’ll join the Gili Eco Trust for a sunset beach clean. The evening is yours to enjoy—whether you watch a movie on the beach or immerse yourself in Gili T’s lively nightlife scene.

This morning, we’ll embark on our private island-hopping adventure to discover all the renowned sights of Gili T. Our journey will include swimming with turtles, exploring the famous underwater statues, and discovering the beautiful coral reefs.

The evening is for you to explore at your leisure, you can enjoy a yoga session, a massage, if you are feeling adventurous you can opt to go paddleboarding or you can check out some of the trendy restaurants and hip reggae bars in the area.

Gili Trawangan - Canggu. Today, we’ll depart from the idyllic Gili T and board a boat back to the mainland of Bali, marking the end of our tour. We’ll then be transferred back to Canggu, where our adventure began.

Once we have arrived in Canggu, it is time for you to say goodbye to your fellow travellers and guide before making your way to the airport for your onward flight. If leaving Bali today, we recommend not booking your flight before 18:00.
