Mellieha - Valietta - Mellieha. We set off with our local guide to discover the highlights of Malta’s vibrant capital, Valletta. Our half-day guided tour begins at the Upper Barracca Gardens, where we take in our first breathtaking view of the Grand Harbour. Next, we visit St John’s Cathedral to admire the Caravaggio masterpieces displayed in the Oratory.
Our tour continues as we stroll past the famous Grand Masters’ Palace and St. George’s Square, before stopping at the Malta 5D show, where we enjoy an audiovisual experience depicting Malta throughout the ages.
Afterward, you have free time for lunch (not included) and the afternoon to explore Valletta at your own pace. We then head back to the northern town of Mellieha for the night.
Day 3
Gozo island tour
Mellieha - Gozo - Mellieha. Today, we embark on a guided tour of the island of Gozo, located off the north coast of Malta's main island. After a short ferry crossing, we arrive at Mgarr Harbour, where we can take photos of the colourful boats resting on its blue waters. We then visit the Megalithic temples of Ggantija, the oldest freestanding monuments in the world.
Next, we explore Gozo’s medieval capital, Victoria, followed by the fjord-like bay at Xlendi and the inland sea at Dwejra. We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and afterward, you have free time to shop for local crafts or relax at a pavement café, soaking up Gozo’s serene atmosphere.
Later in the afternoon, we transfer back to our hotel, where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

As we exit Mdina through the Greek Gate, we visit the Christian catacombs of St Paul in Rabat. We then head to the cliffs at Dingli, where we enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before having lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, there is free time for you to explore Mdina at your own pace. At the end of a captivating day of sightseeing, we transfer back to our hotel for a relaxing evening.

Mellieha - The Three Cities - Mellieha. Today, we will delve deeper into Malta as we journey to the Grand Harbour area to catch our first sight of Vittoriosa, Cospicua, and Senglea, known collectively as the Three Cities. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes for our tour of Vittoriosa, where our expert guide will lead us through the narrow, beautifully preserved streets, past Fort St Angelo, and down to the Vittoriosa waterfront.
At the waterfront, we will board a traditional harbour boat (dghajsa) for a tour of the vibrant harbour creeks. After the boat tour, we will visit Senglea Garden, located at the tip of the peninsula, where we can take in stunning views of the Grand Harbour - an experience not to be missed.
In the afternoon, you have time to explore independently or indulge in some shopping. Then it's back to Mellieha.
