Promoter
This competition is promoted by The Adventure People.
Competition dates
Entries open on Wednesday 9 September 2026.
Entries close at 6:00pm (BST) on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
Entries received after the closing date will not be included.
The winner will be selected at random after the competition has closed and announced by email on Wednesday 14 October 2026.
Eligibility
To be eligible:
- Entrants must be aged over 18 at the time of entry.
- Entrants must complete the official entry form.
- Entrants must provide a valid email address.
- Entrants must remain subscribed to The Adventure People's marketing emails at the time the winner is selected.
- Only one entry is permitted per person. Duplicate entries may be removed.
- Employees of The Adventure People, G Adventures and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
The prize
The prize consists of one place on the G Adventures Costa Rica Adventure tour.
The prize includes the inclusions listed within the published tour itinerary at the time of booking.
The prize does not include:
- International or domestic flights
- Visas
- Passport costs
- Travel insurance
- Vaccinations
- Spending money
- Optional activities
- Meals not listed within the itinerary
- Airport transfers not included within the tour
- Any personal expenses
The winner is responsible for arranging and paying for all items not included within the prize.
Booking the prize
The prize:
- must be booked within 12 months of the winner being notified;
- is subject to tour availability;
- must be travelled before 15 December 2027;
- is subject to G Adventures' operational schedules and availability.
If a preferred departure is unavailable, reasonable alternative departures will be offered.
Winner selection
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
The winner will be contacted using the email address provided during entry.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, is found to be ineligible or declines the prize, The Adventure People reserves the right to draw an alternative winner.
The promoter's decision is final.
Marketing
By entering this competition you agree to receive marketing communications from The Adventure People.
You may unsubscribe at any time; however, if you unsubscribe before the winner is selected, your competition entry will become invalid.
General
The prize has no cash alternative.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged.
The winner must comply with the booking conditions of both The Adventure People and Intro Travel.
The Adventure People reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
Once booked, travel will be subject to The Adventure People's standard Booking Conditions together with the applicable tour operator's booking conditions.
