This morning, meet your tour leader and fellow travellers at the hotel before we set off to explore the charming Dutch countryside. Our first stop is a local farm, where we will watch the age-old crafts of cheese and clog-making. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time for lunch in the picturesque fishing village of Volendam.

In the afternoon, we visit Zaanse Schans, renowned for its quintessential Dutch scenery, complete with lush rolling hills and traditional windmills. Later, we return to Amsterdam for a memorable evening, enjoying a dinner cruise along the city’s famous canals.

Explore Amsterdam at your own pace today. Immerse yourself in the city's wealth of museums, parks, historical sites, and lively markets. You have the opportunity to visit the Anne Frank House for a moving insight into the city’s wartime past, or admire masterpieces at the Van Gogh Museum, MOCO Museum, or Rijksmuseum.

In the afternoon, you may opt for the Dutch Brews & Views experience. Enjoy panoramic views of Amsterdam from the A'DAM Lookout while sipping a drink, then explore Dutch beer culture with a guided tasting session, complete with traditional pairings.

Today, we continue to Germany's captivating capital, arriving in Berlin by the afternoon. Prepare to explore a city where history intertwines with contemporary flair. Berlin's energy is palpable, reflected in its eclectic architecture and vibrant street art. Once severed during the Cold War, Berlin now stands as a symbol of unity and resilience, balancing reminders of past challenges with a celebration of freedom and creativity.

Spend a full day at leisure in Berlin. You might choose to explore its rich history by visiting one of the city’s many free museums. Depart Berlin as we journey towards the captivating city of Prague. Our first stop is Dresden, a German city that has been expertly reconstructed after the devastation of World War II. Here, we can savour traditional treats like Bratwurst and enjoy a leisurely stroll through its picturesque streets.

We then continue east to the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague. On a guided walking tour, we'll explore noteworthy sites, including Prague's historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. As we wander, consider which locations you'd like to visit during your free time tomorrow. In the evening, delight in a meal of authentic Czech cuisine at a local restaurant.

Our journey continues as we head towards Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, situated on the Danube River. We will begin with an orientation tour before travelling on to Vienna, the elegant capital of Austria. This city is celebrated for its stunning architecture and its UNESCO World Heritage Site city centre.

As we approach, enjoy views of the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace. Upon arrival in Vienna, we will embark on a guided tour, both walking and driving, to explore the historic city centre. Highlights include the Imperial Castle, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and the renowned Golden Mile, each offering a glimpse into Vienna's grand past.

In the evening, we'll dine in a historic Viennese wine cellar. Afterwards, you might choose to attend a classical music concert at the Schönbrunn Palace Orangery, an experience steeped in the city's rich musical heritage.

This morning, we journey to Ljubljana, the quaint capital of Slovenia. Renowned for its compact layout and enchanting atmosphere, we'll embark on a guided walking tour to explore its beautiful bridges and impeccably preserved Baroque, Gothic, and medieval architecture. Following some leisure time, enjoy the stunning landscapes as we head south, crossing into Italy towards Venice.

Spread over 118 islands, Venice is famed for its iconic canals, gondolas, rich art, and artisanal crafts. Tonight, relax at the hotel or choose an optional evening excursion to experience the allure of Venice by night in a traditional water taxi.

Today, you'll have the opportunity to explore the vibrant city of Venice at your own pace. Start by visiting landmarks such as St. Mark's Square, the bustling Grand Canal, and the historic Rialto Bridge. Enhance your visit with a classic gondola ride, which your tour leader can help arrange.

Optional excursions include a visit to the nearby islands of Murano and Burano, famous for their centuries-old glassblowing and lace-making skills. Scheduled for later in the day, this allows you to comfortably enjoy both activities.

Experience the captivating allure of Rome as our Italian journey continues. Following a scenic drive through the enchanting Italian countryside, we'll reach this bustling capital, where ancient history meets vibrant culture.

We'll meet a local Roman guide for an evening walking tour, exploring iconic sites such as the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Roman Forum, and the impressive Colosseum.
