Day 1
Munich Arrival, City Orientation & Bavarian Welcome Dinner
Our epic adventure through Central and Eastern Europe begins today in Munich. This morning, meet your tour leader and fellow travellers at the hotel. We will start with an orientation tour, exploring the highlights of Bavaria’s charming capital. In Munich, immerse yourself in attractions such as the historic Marienplatz and the renowned BMW Museum.
Afterwards, enjoy some free time to delve deeper into the city on your own. You might choose to join an optional excursion to discover more of Munich’s top sights and hidden treasures, complete with a taste of local cuisine and culture.
This evening, regroup for an included welcome dinner at a historic Bavarian restaurant, where we will savour a traditional German meal.
Day 2
Neuschwanstein Castle, Innsbruck Orientation & Tyrolean Dinner
This morning, we depart Munich and head to Austria, with a final stop in Bavaria along the way. Our destination is the breathtaking Neuschwanstein Castle, which famously inspired Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. We'll enjoy a guided tour of the castle, after which you'll have some free time to explore independently.
Next, we continue to the picturesque city of Innsbruck, Austria. Here, we will take an orientation tour to familiarise ourselves with the city before you have the opportunity to explore at your leisure. To enrich your evening, consider joining the optional Tyrol Folk Evening, where you'll experience authentic Austrian cuisine and music.
Day 3
Vaduz Stopover, Lucerne Chapel Bridge & Swiss Alps Arrival
Experience three countries in a single day! After breakfast, we depart Austria and journey to Liechtenstein, one of the world's smallest nations. Our first stop is Vaduz, the charming capital, where you'll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch.
We then head to Switzerland, arriving in the picturesque city of Lucerne. Here, we'll embark on an orientation tour led by our guide, taking in impressive sights like the iconic Chapel Bridge. As we stroll, you'll have ample opportunity to admire Lucerne's vibrant architecture and its serene lakeside vistas.
Our day continues with a scenic drive through the awe-inspiring Swiss Alps, where we’ll savour the breathtaking mountainous landscapes en route to our accommodation. The evening concludes with a delightful dinner included at the hotel.
Day 4
Free Day: Optional Jungfraujoch Summit & Alpine Dinner Experience
Wake up to the invigorating Swiss air as you embark on a full day at leisure in the stunning Swiss Alps. For an unforgettable experience, we highly recommend the optional excursion to Jungfraujoch, often referred to as the “Top of Europe.” Travel to Europe's highest railway station and marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and charming Swiss villages.
Alternatively, spend your day exploring nearby villages at your own pace. This evening, consider indulging in the Alpine Dinner Experience—a delightful way to savour authentic Swiss cuisine.
Day 5
Lake Como Stopover & Italian Lake District Afternoon at Leisure
Today we head to Italy, crossing the border from Switzerland to arrive at the famed Lake Como. Known for its glamour and beauty, this area is a jewel of the Italian Lake District, frequented by celebrities from around the world.
This afternoon, you have the freedom to explore at your leisure. Perhaps try the local cuisine, take in the stunning scenery, or meander through quaint village streets. Dinner will be provided at the hotel.
Day 6
Florence Renaissance Tour, Leaning Tower of Pisa & Montecatini
Today's itinerary promises some of Italy's most iconic sights. We begin our journey in Florence, the capital of Tuscany and cradle of the Renaissance, where breathtaking art and architecture await. Explore its renowned landmarks, followed by an included lunch, before we enjoy a leather and gold demonstration by skilled local artisans.
Next, we head to Pisa to witness the legendary Leaning Tower, a symbol of architectural ingenuity. Capture unforgettable photos here before travelling to our accommodation in Montecatini.
Day 7
Verona Free Time & Venice Optional Gondola & Canal Dinner
This morning, we bid farewell to Tuscany and set off for Verona, the romantic backdrop of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore Verona at your own pace. Afterwards, we continue to Venice, a highlight of any Italian journey.
Known as the "floating city", Venice enchants visitors with its charming canals. You can choose to enhance your evening with the optional "Evening in Venice" excursion, which includes a gondola and water taxi ride, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 8
Italian Dolomites Drive, Andechs Monastery & Munich Return
This morning, we depart from Venice and begin our journey back to Munich, with some spectacular stops along the way. We will travel through the stunning Italian Dolomite Mountains, situated within the Dolomite National Park. Be sure to have your cameras ready for some truly unforgettable vistas.
Next, we visit Andechs, a charming monastery town nestled in the Bavarian Alps, where you can enjoy the expansive views of the countryside. Finally, we arrive back in Munich with the evening at your disposal to explore as you wish. Why not take the opportunity to discover the city by night?
Day 9
Free Day: Munich Optional City Tour & Bavarian Dinner
Enjoy a day of leisure in Munich, a city teeming with cultural attractions. Explore its rich heritage by visiting The Residenz, a lavish former royal palace, or the Kunstehalle, where classical and modern art converge. Discover the city's religious architecture with visits to stunning churches like Asamkirche and St. Michael.

Day 10
Mondsee Abbey, Melk Abbey & Vienna Guided City Tour
Today, we return to Austria, heading towards Vienna, the nation's majestic capital. Our journey takes us through some lesser-known treasures. First, we visit Mondsee, a charming lakeside town where the renowned Mondsee Abbey, featured in The Sound of Music, stands.
Next, we explore Melk, home to the lavish Baroque Melk Abbey, offering breathtaking views over the Danube River. Our visit includes a tour of this impressive site. Enjoy a lunch included with the tour before we continue to Vienna.
Upon arrival in Vienna, we embark on a guided tour to experience the city's splendid architecture and delve into its rich artistic and musical heritage.
Day 11
Budapest Arrival, Parliament Building & Optional Danube Dinner Cruise
Begin your day with breakfast before boarding the coach to our next destination. We travel to Budapest, Hungary's magnificent capital, where we'll embark on a guided driving tour. This is your chance to see iconic landmarks like the Hungarian Parliament and St. Stephen’s Basilica.
In the evening, you have the option to join a memorable cruise along the Danube River. Witness the beauty of Budapest illuminated at night while enjoying a delightful buffet dinner.
Day 12
Bratislava Stopover, Prague Arrival & Local Guide Walking Tour
Explore two captivating countries on our Central and Eastern Europe tour. Our day begins in Bratislava, Slovakia's charming capital, where we will embark on a guided orientation tour of this compact city.
We then travel to Prague, the enchanting capital of Czechia, where we will spend the next two nights. This afternoon, join a local guide to discover the city's magical sights. You'll marvel at its Gothic architecture while delving into Prague's rich history and folklore.
In the evening, savour a delicious dinner featuring authentic Czech cuisine at a local eatery.
Day 13
Free Day: Prague Castle, Malá Strana & Vltava River Cruise
Explore Prague at your own pace today and discover why it's called the "City of a Hundred Spires." With its rich history and stunning architecture, there is plenty to see and do. On an orientation tour, we will delve into Nuremberg's turbulent and rich history.
After the tour, you may choose to explore further or relax over lunch. Upon arrival in Munich, a free evening awaits you. Consider gathering with the group for a farewell dinner.
