Croatia Kayaking Holidays
There may be no better place to enjoy a leisurely kayaking holiday than on one of Croatia's islands during the summer months. Our small group guided kayaking holidays run throughout summer when the weather is good. In most cases your base will be a beautiful island like Lopud from which each day you'll set out with your group and instructor.
You'll paddle during the morning with a break in the afternoon and downtime to enjoy the beach or do some exploring.
The holidays are designed for beginners with double kayaks as well as those who are more experienced.

Do I need kayaking experience?
No! These kayaking trips are for beginners as well as those more experienced. You'll have full instruction from an experienced guide.
I am a solo traveller, can I still go?
Yes. 50% of our guests are solo travellers so you're in good company. You'd be paired with someone of the same gender to share a room with or you can choose your own room for a small supplement.
Is the sea cold?
It can be chilly but in summer it is gorgeous! you can wear a wetsuit if you like and of course it is compulsory to wear a life jacket.
What gear is provided?
Accommodation, Guide, Kayak, Paddle, Lifejacket, Wet bag, Dry bag, usually some meals (see each trips details), Snorkels, Flippers
What do I need to pack?
A packing list can be found in each brochure but as a rough guide for a kayaking trip:
- swimwear
- sun cream
- camera (water proof would be good)
- hat & sunglasses
- sandals
- dry towel and beach towel
- zip bag / day pack
Will i fall in?
Maybe yes but don't worry. First and foremost you'll be in a life jacket so you're safe. The water may be a tad chilly to begin with but once you're in you'll love it.
How far do we paddle?
That depends upon the trip but anywhere between 1 and 4 hours.
What If the weather is bad?
The guide will make a decision every morning on the suitability of the weather. If the guide cancels kayaking that day the decision is final as it is for everyone safety.
What else is there to do?
You can explore the local area on foot. Take a boat ride and explore Dubrovnik, enjoy the beach go swimming, go fishing!
