Vietnam & Mui Ne Beach - 13 Days

Your Vietnamese adventure starts as you arrive in Hanoi. Our private driver, easily identifiable by a sign with your name, will greet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation situated in the vibrant heart of the city.

From here, the captivating Old Quarter is just a short walk away. Feel free to explore the bustling streets at your leisure or unwind at your hotel following your flight.

In the morning, we’ll check out of the hotel and be picked up by the Cruise team. Our journey to Halong Bay takes us through the picturesque Red River Delta, where you'll see expansive fields of emerald green rice paddies. Upon reaching the pier, we’ll board the cruise and take in breathtaking views of Halong Bay's limestone rocks and karst grottoes.

We’ll enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board and spend some time on the sundeck exploring the bay. The cruise will take us to a secluded spot to kayak or swim, giving you the chance to get up close to the impressive karst formations.

As evening approaches, we’ll return to the boat for an early dinner, after which you’ll have leisure time. You may choose to join optional activities on the boat or simply relax. We will spend the night aboard the cruise.

Please note: If adverse weather conditions prevent the boat from sailing or staying overnight in the bay, the Halong Bay tour may be cancelled without prior notice. In such cases, alternative tours or a refund will be considered based on the circumstances.

Start your day early to witness a stunning sunrise, accompanied by breakfast in the dining room. We then offer a Tai Chi class on the sun deck to invigorate your body and mind. Next, explore a captivating limestone cave, filled with fascinating stalagmites and stalactites.

Following our cave adventure, return to the boat to check out and enjoy a delightful brunch as we cruise back to the harbour. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in Hanoi.

Savour your final moments in Hanoi before a private driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, another driver will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Hoi An. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

At 8:00 am, our English-speaking guide will meet us at the hotel for a cycling excursion through the picturesque countryside and along the rivers surrounding Hoi An. As we pedal through the area, we’ll enjoy warm greetings from the locals and take in the scenic views.

Following our cycling adventure, we’ll board a boat for a river cruise. Here, we’ll meet local fishermen and participate in traditional net fishing. Next, we'll experience a paddle boat ride in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat, navigating through the lush coconut palm waterways.

After our boat journey, we'll savour a delicious lunch before cycling back to the hotel.

Today, you have the freedom to explore Hoi An at your leisure. A recommended way to discover this enchanting town is to hire a bicycle from the hotel. Cycle through the town towards the riverside or the beach, where you can unwind at one of the many small cafes. Enjoy a refreshing fruit drink after a swim in the warm, calm sea.

You might also choose to visit a local tailor shop, renowned for crafting bespoke clothing, bags, and shoes overnight—an ideal opportunity for unique souvenirs.

As evening falls, we suggest strolling through the Old Town. This area becomes particularly magical when the shops illuminate their lanterns, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. Don't miss the vibrant street performances that add to the charm of the evening.

Savour your final moments in Hoi An before our private driver takes you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, your driver will collect you and transport you to your accommodation in the city centre. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before we set off for the Cu Chi Tunnels, a journey of approximately 90 minutes. On arrival, we'll start with a brief introduction, followed by a video detailing the tunnels' construction and the harsh conditions endured during the war.

You'll then have the opportunity to explore the remaining tunnel area, including living spaces, kitchens, bedrooms, storage rooms, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centres. These spaces were vital for meeting the residents' basic needs. Additionally, you can see the hidden trap doors and clever traps that secured this underground maze during wartime.

Afterwards, you can sample special tea and cassava, typical sustenance for guerilla fighters during the conflict. We will then return to Ho Chi Minh City, where you will spend the night.

Begin your day with a substantial breakfast before we venture to the Mekong Delta. Our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby between 7:15 and 7:30 am to set off for My Tho, located on the left bank of the Mekong River.

Upon arrival, we will board a sampan and cruise past the picturesque islands named Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. We will disembark at Unicorn Island to stroll along country paths and explore fruit orchards. Here, enjoy tasting tropical fruits and listening to folk songs performed by locals.

Next, we'll take a hand-rowed sampan through the Thoi Son canal, soaking in the serene countryside. We'll visit family-run workshops and a bee farm, where you can try honey tea and coconut candies.

A traditional Vietnamese lunch provides a welcome break. Afterwards, you can cycle through Tan Thach village to meet the locals and observe everyday life in the Mekong Delta. Alternatively, relax in a hammock and enjoy the refreshing breeze.

Enjoy your time exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Later, we will travel by car to Mui Ne, a coastal town known for its charming beaches and vibrant fishing culture. Upon arrival in Mui Ne, we will check into the hotel, where you'll stay overnight.

Today, you'll have the day at your leisure on Mui Ne Beach. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the emerald waters or simply relax by the shore.

Another free day to enjoy Mui Ne at your own pace. You may wish to continue relaxing by the beach or explore the nearby sand dunes and coastal scenery.

Enjoy a wholesome breakfast on your final day in Vietnam. After checking out of the hotel, you may wish to explore the local markets for some last-minute souvenirs. The rest of the day is yours to relax on Mui Ne Beach's sandy shores.

Afterwards, we'll transfer you to Ho Chi Minh City, where your private driver will take you to the airport for your flight home.
