Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before checking out. We'll then embark on a roughly six-hour journey to Sapa on the limousine bus. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the picturesque mountain town of Sapa at your leisure.

  • Day 3

Trek through Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai & Ta Van

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. At around 9:30 am, we will meet our guide and embark on a 12 km trek. Our journey takes us through the striking landscapes of rice terraces and mountains to the villages of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai, home to the Hmong minority.

We will pause for lunch by the river in Lao Chai. Afterwards, we continue to Ta Van village, where we will encounter the Dzay people and immerse ourselves in their unique daily life and customs.

  • Day 4

Continue Trek & Return to Hanoi

After a hearty breakfast, we set off for Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dao minority. Our trek takes us through the lush bamboo forest of Hoang Lien National Park. En route, we'll pause by a picturesque waterfall and a traditional rattan bridge, providing the perfect opportunity to relax and soak in the scenery.

We’ll find a scenic spot to enjoy our lunch. Once refreshed, we continue to Su Pan, a quaint roadside village. From there, our car will take us back to Sapa. Later, a limousine bus will transfer us to Hanoi, where we will spend the night.

  • Day 5

    Halong Bay Overnight Cruise

In the morning, we'll check out of the hotel and be collected by the Cruise team for our journey to Halong Bay. Travelling through the picturesque Red River Delta, we'll enjoy views of endless emerald-green rice paddies.

Upon arrival at the pier, we will board the cruise to admire the stunning limestone formations and karst grottoes of the bay. We'll have a delicious seafood lunch on deck while taking in the views.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we set off for the Cu Chi Tunnels, a journey of approximately 90 minutes. Upon arrival, we'll receive a brief introduction and watch a video detailing the construction of these remarkable tunnels and how locals endured wartime hardships.

You'll then explore the remaining tunnel systems, which include living quarters, kitchens, and bedrooms, alongside martial facilities such as storage areas, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centres - all essential for subterranean life during the war.

Discover the hidden trapdoors and defensive traps that were crucial for security. Afterwards, we'll sample special tea and cassava, traditional guerilla fare from the era. We then return to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Day 9

Experience Mekong Delta & Continue to Can Tho

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a journey to the Mekong Delta. Our guide will meet you at the hotel lobby between 7:15 and 7:30 am, from where we'll travel to Ben Tre, situated on the banks of the Mekong River.

Upon arrival, we'll board a traditional sampan and cruise around the four enchanting islands named Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. At Unicorn Island, take a stroll through the country lanes and explore the orchards. Visit fruit plantations to savour tropical fruits while enjoying folk songs performed by local artists.

Next, we'll glide through the Thoi Son canal in a hand-rowed sampan, soaking in the serene countryside views. Discover local craftsmanship at family workshops, visit a honey-bee farm, and sample honey tea alongside freshly made coconut candies.

For lunch, indulge in traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Afterwards, join a cycling tour around Tan Thach village to meet the local villagers and experience daily life in the Mekong Delta. Alternatively, feel free to unwind in a hammock and enjoy the cool breeze.

Later in the day, you’ll be transferred to Can Tho for an overnight stay.

  • Day 10

Visit Cai Rang Floating Market & Return to Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy a delightful breakfast before meeting your guide. We will embark on a relaxing boat journey along the scenic tributaries of the Lower Mekong River, specifically the Bassac River. Here, you'll experience the vibrant Cai Rang floating market, renowned as the most bustling market in the area. Afterwards, we will transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Day 11

    Travel to Phnom Penh

Enjoy your final moments in Hanoi before your private driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Cambodia. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Airport, another driver will meet you and transfer you to your centrally located accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at leisure.

  • Day 12

    Discover Phnom Penh

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. We then visit the Royal Palace, the official residence of Cambodia's monarch. This majestic complex is akin to a small town of royal dynasties.

Our next stop is the Silver Pagoda, known more for its collection of cultural treasures than as a functioning temple. Highlights include a golden Buddha weighing 90 kg and adorned with 2,086 diamonds.

We continue to Wat Phnom Temple, an important religious site in Phnom Penh, established in 1373 by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.

Our afternoon begins with a visit to the Tuol Sleng Museum, once a school turned into the notorious S-21 prison by Pol Pot's regime. Here, we learn about Cambodia's harrowing history, where over 17,000 prisoners were held before being executed at Choeng Ek.

We then explore the Russian Market, or Toul Tumpong Market, known for its affordable clothing and diverse selection of local crafts, including Buddha images, woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewellery, and traditional musical instruments.

  • Day 13

Transfer to Siem Reap & Start Exploring

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before we transfer you to the bus station. Here, you'll begin a scenic five-hour journey to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, we'll head straight to your hotel for check-in.

In the afternoon, we will visit Artisan D’Angkor, where you'll witness skilled artisans practicing traditional wood and stone carving techniques. Following this, we'll explore Wat Thmey, known for its historical significance.

You'll spend the night in Siem Reap, ready to continue your adventure the next day.

  • Day 14

    More of Siem Reap

We start our exploration at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, a historic city established by King Jayavarman VII. Here, we'll marvel at the Bayon Temple, noted for its 54 towers adorned with enigmatic smiling faces, which date back to the late 12th and early 13th centuries.

We then move to the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King, each offering a glimpse into the grandeur of the Khmer Empire.

Next, we visit Preah Khan Temple, another masterpiece by King Jayavarman VII, dedicated to his father. This vast monastic complex, once bustling with over a thousand monks, functioned as both a Buddhist monastery and a school.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm. Here, nature spectacularly intertwines with human endeavour, as immense fig trees and climbers envelop the ancient stonework.

Our day concludes with a sunset view from atop Phnom Bakeng, offering a serene panorama of the surrounding landscape.

  • Day 15

    Goodbye Siem Reap

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a private boat tour of Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. As we glide across the water, our guide will introduce us to the remarkable floating village.

This unique community, complete with floating schools and a police station, adapts to the lake's changing water levels by relocating as needed. It's a fascinating glimpse into life on the water that mirrors a traditional village.

Later, your private driver will take you to the airport for your departure home.
