Day 1
Welcome to South Africa!
Welcome to Johannesburg. After arriving at the airport, make your own way to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or explore the city at your own pace.
Day 2
Journey to Victoria Falls
Johannesburg - Victoria Falls. After breakfast, we take the shuttle back to the airport for our flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival, our representative meets us and transfers us to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free, and you may choose to join one of the optional tours available.
This afternoon, we enjoy a relaxed sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. As the sun sets, the surrounding wildlife often becomes active along the riverbanks, offering possible sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife. It is a gentle introduction to the region’s natural beauty.
Day 3
Exploring the Mighty Victoria Falls
Today we join a guided tour of the iconic Victoria Falls. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning ‘the smoke that thunders’, the falls stretch nearly 2 km across and plunge more than 100 m into the gorge below. As we walk through the rainforest and viewpoints, we experience the spray, sound, and scale of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Day 4
A Day at Leisure in Victoria Falls
Enjoy the day at leisure or you may join one of the optional tours on offer.
Optional: Chobe Day Trip You can embark on a full-day safari into Chobe National Park, beginning with a river cruise followed by an afternoon game drive.
Optional: “Flight of Angels” Helicopter Ride You can enjoy a 13-minute helicopter flight that offers spectacular aerial views of Victoria Falls.
Day 5
Return to Johannesburg
Victoria Falls - Johannesburg. After breakfast, we transfer you to Victoria Falls Airport for the flight back to Johannesburg. On arrival, the hotel shuttle meets you for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 6
Wilds of Kruger National Park
Johannesburg - Kruger National Park. This morning we travel overland to Kruger National Park. After arriving at the lodge, the remainder of the afternoon is free before we enjoy dinner together this evening.
Day 7
Safari Adventure
Today we head out on a full-day game drive by 4x4 vehicle. Kruger is one of Africa’s oldest and largest reserves, home to the Big 5 and a wide range of wildlife. As we explore, we learn more about the animals and the unique ecosystems that support them. Dinner is served at the lodge this evening.
Day 8
Cape Town Bound
Kruger National Park - Johannesburg - Cape Town. This morning we return to Johannesburg Airport for our flight to Cape Town. On arrival, we enjoy a city orientation tour en route to the hotel, offering an introduction to this historic coastal city.
Day 9
Cape Town at Leisure
Spend the day at leisure or you may choose to join one of the optional tours available.
Optional: Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour You can explore the dramatic coastline of the Cape Peninsula, including Boulders Beach’s penguin colony and Cape Point Nature Reserve.
Optional: Half Day Cape Point Tour You can travel along Chapman’s Peak Drive, visit Cape Point Nature Reserve, and return via Simon’s Town and Muizenberg, with the option to visit Boulders Beach at your own expense.
Optional: Cape Town Food Markets Experience You can visit two celebrated markets, discovering seasonal produce, artisanal foods, and local crafts with an expert guide.
Optional: Table Mountain and City Day Tour with Ticket Included You can take the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain for sweeping views of Cape Town and its coastline.
Day 10
Day at Leisure and African dining
Enjoy the day at leisure or you may join one of the optional excursions.
This evening we enjoy a special dinner at Gold Restaurant. The experience begins with an interactive djembe drumming session before we sit down to a 14-course tasting menu inspired by African and Cape Malay traditions. Throughout the evening, live performances add to the atmosphere while we savour a range of regional dishes.
Optional: Full Day Cape Winelands Tour You can explore the historic winemaking towns of Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek, with opportunities for wine tastings and cellar visits.
Optional: Half Day Township Tour with Robben Island You can journey through Cape Town’s layered history, visiting the Bo-Kaap, District Six, and Langa, before cruising to Robben Island to learn about its powerful legacy.
Optional: Great White Shark Cage Diving Tour You can travel to Gansbaai for a cage diving experience or boat-based viewing of great white sharks, conditions permitting.
Day 11
Farewell
Today, make your own way to Cape Town International Airport for your overnight flight home.
