Customer reviews & ratings
Had a blast on the premium tour with Tom our awesome guide and fellow passengers. This tour covers all the must see sights on the beautiful South Island plus loads of experiences you can add on to suit every age. The flight over Lake Tekapo was truly breathtaking and if you’re brave enough, a quad bike tour into the wilderness will leave you buzzing! All ages are catered for and Tom’s seamless management of the trip allows you to focus on the fun and chill. Super keen to do a North Island tour with Wild Kiwi now.
Mark Feb, 2026 VerifiedMy mum and I joined the Premium New Zealand Highlights tour for 2 weeks in November. The Wild Kiwi team was very efficient and professional - they provided all the needed information before the tour and for the flight between islands, they will provide the information a couple of days before the flight day. Our tour guides/drivers, Claudia for the North and Ben for the South were AMAZING! They were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and organised! They would book the activities that we wanted to do for us so we do not stress about it, and we just pay on the day before the activities. They would also recommend the outfit/clothes for the activities depending on the weather which was very helpful. They also recommended the places to eat in each town for dinner which are all in walking distance from the hotel. Both tour group were under 15 people, and everyone was so friendly and kind - making new friends while travelling is the best. While on the road, we had music jamming for nice vibe and to enjoy the beautiful views. Everything that we did was really good but the MUST DO/BEST activities on the North are Hobbiton, Te Pa Tu, Huka Falls, and on the South are Billy the Bard, Milford Sound, TSS Earnslaw, Fox Glacier Heli Hike. If you like nature and walks, Redwood Treewalks, Rotorua is good for that and if you like speed and adrenaline Luge (Rotorua or Queenstown) is amazing. Highly recommend this team to handle your New Zealand experience and you will have the best time.
