  This tour utilizes private transport for all included activities, as well as local buses and walking for transport between destinations.

  The main highlights include exploring the bustling streets of Istanbul, discovering ancient cities and extraordinary scenery, marveling at the rock formations of Cappadocia, and getting immersed in the local culture and enjoying the delicious food.

  Yes, optional activities include a Welcome Dinner and Istanbul Walking Tour and Bosphorus Cruise in Istanbul. In Cappadocia, you can opt for a Hot Air Balloon ride, a Turkish Night, a Pottery Center Visit, a Carpet Demonstration, a Cappadocia Trekking Tour, or experience Whirling Dervishes.

  The local currency in Turkey is the Turkish Lira (TRY). ATMs are found within main cities and generally accept Visa and Mastercard. Cash (Turkish Lira, Euros, British Pounds, or US Dollars) is recommended for times when ATMs are not accessible. When bringing US Dollars, ensure notes are new and in good condition.

  It is customary to leave a small tip for service providers like waiters (10% of the bill). Recommendations for tipping drivers range from $15-20 USD per week. For your CEO, a guideline of $40-45 USD per person, per week, is appreciated if you felt they did an outstanding job.

  We strongly recommend using a neck wallet or money belt for valuables, leaving valuable jewelry at home, and utilizing hotel safety deposit boxes. A lock is recommended for luggage. During free time, use your own good judgment, stay in small groups at night, and take taxis to and from restaurants or during night-time excursions. Your CEO has the authority to amend the itinerary if deemed necessary due to safety concerns.

  It is advisable to drink bottled water in Turkey. You should consult your travel doctor for up-to-date medical travel information and any required inoculations well before departure. It's recommended to carry a First Aid kit and hand sanitizers/antibacterial wipes, as leaders are prohibited from administering drugs.

• Is travel insurance required for this trip?

  Yes, travel insurance is compulsory. You must have coverage for medical expenses, including emergency evacuation and repatriation, with a minimum of USD 200,000. It is strongly recommended that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage and personal effects. Ensure coverage for all included adventure activities.

  Laundry facilities are offered by some of our hotels for a charge, or your CEO can advise you on the nearest laundromat. It is suggested to bring your own non-polluting/biodegradable soap.
