Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Bangkok
Your journey kicks off in vibrant Bangkok. Upon your arrival at the airport, you'll be welcomed by a private driver holding a sign with your name. You'll then be escorted to your accommodation conveniently located in the city centre. Spend your day exploring Bangkok's lively streets at your leisure or unwind at the hotel to recover from your flight.
Day 2
Explore Bangkok & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
We will collect you from your hotel and set off from Bangkok to Ratchaburi province, heading to the iconic Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Renowned globally, this traditional market offers a quintessential Thai experience.
Our journey begins southwest of Bangkok, with a stop at a sugar palm factory to observe the process of sugar production from palm trees. Upon arrival at the pier, we board a traditional long-tail boat for a scenic ride to the market. This journey provides an intimate glimpse into the lives of locals residing along the canal.
At the market, you will witness vibrant scenes of vendors plying their trade from boats, selling an array of goods such as fruits, vegetables, and flowers to onshore customers. You are free to sample local delicacies like coconut juice or other fresh fruit beverages and peruse for unique souvenirs for friends and family.
Day 3
Journey to Chiang Mai
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to the airport for your international flight from Hanoi to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport, our local representative will greet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind or start discovering the enchanting city of Chiang Mai.
Day 4
Uncover Chiang Mai Temples
Begin your stay in Chiang Mai with a comprehensive tour of this historic city, boasting over 700 years of heritage. We will journey up the winding hill route to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai's most significant temple, standing 3,500 feet above sea level. This 600-year-old site is home to the city's emblem, the copper-plated Chedi with a five-tiered gold parasol, housing relics of the Lord Buddha.
Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the terrace on a clear day. The ascent of the 306-step Naga staircase, adorned with dragon-headed serpents from Thai mythology, is well worth the effort.
Within the city, we'll explore Wat Suan Dok, known for its royal flower gardens and large central stupa, and Wat Chedi Luang, featuring an impressive Chedi originally constructed in 1411.
Day 5
Elephant Sanctuary Experience
Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup and a scenic 1.5-hour drive south of Chiang Mai, taking you through lush hills, forests, and vibrant farming areas. Our destination is the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary—a hub of ethical tourism and wildlife conservation.
Upon arrival, you'll learn about the elephants' histories while changing into traditional Karen clothing, setting the stage for a culturally immersive experience. Meet these majestic creatures up close, feeding, interacting, and observing them in their natural habitat. Capture these memorable moments with photos as you deepen your understanding of their behaviours and stories.
Join the elephants for a rejuvenating mud spa, followed by a walk to the river where you can help bathe them. This hands-on experience highlights the sanctuary's commitment to responsible tourism and elephant welfare.
Conclude your visit with a delicious traditional meal before saying farewell to the elephants. We then embark on the return journey, getting you back to Chiang Mai and your accommodation in approximately 1.5 hours.
This 6-hour programme ensures an unforgettable, respectful interaction with one of nature's most magnificent animals.
Day 6
Free Time in Chiang Mai & Transfer to Phuket
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. Today offers the freedom to explore at your own pace, with no scheduled activities. Savour this opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture or simply relax.

Day 7
Visit Phang Nga Bay & James Bond Island
In the morning, we meet with the cruise team at your hotel and travel to Ao Por Pier. Here, you can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee before boarding a luxury boat. Our journey begins with a picturesque cruise north, navigating among the karst islets of the Andaman Sea.
Our first destination in Phang Nga Bay is Panak Island, where we embark on a canoe expedition through sea caves and mangroves. We then proceed to Hong Island for additional canoeing or kayaking, led by your local guide who will introduce you to hidden caves and lagoons.
Upon returning to the boat, a delicious buffet lunch awaits.
In the afternoon, we visit Khao Phing Kan, famously associated with the film "The Man with the Golden Gun" and colloquially known as "James Bond Island" due to the iconic Ko Ta Pu limestone formation located 40 metres offshore. Here, you have time to relax on a tranquil beach, perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
At approximately 3:30 pm, we board the boat for our return journey to Phuket with an overnight stay on the island.
Day 8
Phuket at Leisure
Located on the stunning Andaman Coast, Phuket is famed for its beaches, vibrant nightlife, and luxurious resorts. The island boasts a variety of landscapes, from lush tropical rainforests to palm-fringed beaches and striking limestone cliffs. Today, you are free to discover Phuket at your own pace—whether that means relaxation or adventure.
We suggest unwinding at a beach where you can sunbathe, enjoy a refreshing swim, or try some snorkelling. For an underwater perspective of Phuket, consider visiting the aquarium at Cape Panwa. Alternatively, if you’re in search of adrenaline, Hanuman World Phuket offers thrilling zipline experiences through the jungle canopy.
As evening falls, indulge in some freshly caught seafood, wander through a lively night market, or enjoy a refreshing drink on the bustling Bangla Road.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, our local representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or start exploring the enchanting city of Siem Reap at your own pace.
Day 10
Discover Angkor Temples
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. We will then explore Angkor Thom, entering through its South Gate. Within the complex, we will visit the Bayon Temple, a majestic structure from the late 12th to early 13th century, created by King Jayavarman VII. Notable for its 54 towers, it epitomises Khmer architectural splendour.
Our exploration continues with the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Following this, we visit Preah Khan temple, another creation of King Jayavarman VII, honouring his father. This vast monastic complex once served as a Buddhist monastery and educational centre for over 1,000 monks.
In the afternoon, we will visit Ta Prohm, known for its ethereal atmosphere as it's entwined with jungle trees. Later, we'll head to Angkor Wat, the largest temple complex in the world, spanning 200 hectares. Surrounded by a grand moat and an imposing exterior wall, Angkor Wat epitomises Cambodia's historical and cultural heritage.
Day 11
Tonle Sap Lake Boat Trip
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. We will then embark on a private boat tour of Tonle Sap, the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, which connects to the Mekong River in Phnom Penh.
During the tour, we will visit a 'floating village', where you will see how local fishermen live. The village features floating schools and a police station, demonstrating a lifestyle that adapts to the changing water levels and currents.
