  • Day 2

    Waterfalls & Alpine Wonders

Geneva - Lauterbrunnen - Interlaken Region. This morning, we leave Geneva at 07:30 AM, heading towards the Interlaken region. Here, we will make our way to Lauterbrunnen, a picturesque valley celebrated for its dramatic waterfalls and towering cliffs.

From April to November: we discover the impressive Trümmelbach Falls, hidden inside the mountain and carrying meltwater from the surrounding glaciers. We also visit the famous Reichenbach Falls, forever linked to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s tale of Sherlock Holmes, before continuing through the striking Aareschlucht gorge, carved by glacial waters over thousands of years.

From November to March: we explore some of Lauterbrunnen’s most iconic waterfalls, including Staubbachfall and Mürrenbachfall, both plunging from sheer cliffs. We then ascend to the Giessbach Falls and cross the panoramic Sigriswil Bridge, offering breathtaking views of Lake Thun and the surrounding peaks.

Alternatively, you may wish to take an optional full-day excursion to Jungfraujoch. This remarkable journey takes you by cogwheel train to the highest railway station in Europe at 3,454 metres, with a scenic stop at Eismeer station along the way.

From around 18:00, the evening is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace.

Please note: For the optional excursion to Jungfraujoch, train tickets are included. The excursion is booked at an additional fee, based on a minimum of three participants.

If you are interested in music history, you could visit Queen: The Studio Experience, while film enthusiasts may prefer Chaplin’s World, dedicated to Charlie Chaplin, who spent his final years in Vevey. Another relaxing option is to take a scenic steamboat cruise from Vevey, gliding across Lake Geneva with views of charming lakeside towns and the surrounding Swiss and French Alps.

Option 1: Day Excursion to France (Evian-les-Bains – Yvoire – Annecy)

Departing at 8:30 AM and returning by 5:00 PM, this full-day trip crosses into France. We begin in Evian-les-Bains, world-famous for its mineral water and spa heritage. Option 4: Evening Excursion to the Thermal Baths of Les Bains de Lavey

In the evening, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, you can unwind at Les Bains de Lavey. Surrounded by Alpine scenery, the thermal baths feature naturally heated pools, underwater massages and eucalyptus hammams – the perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing.
