Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Hanoi
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our private driver will be waiting at the airport, ready to welcome you with a sign bearing your name.
We’ll transport you to your accommodation, conveniently located in the vibrant centre of the city, mere steps away from the captivating Old Quarter.
You have the freedom to wander through the bustling streets at your leisure or unwind at the hotel after your journey.
Day 2
Uncover Ninh Binh, Tam Coc & Mua Cave
We will collect you from your accommodation with our friendly guide for a journey to Ninh Binh province. On the way, we'll pause for a short break to relax before reaching Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Here, we delve into the country's feudal history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties.
Afterwards, join us for a cycling tour around the village to immerse yourself in local life.
Lunch awaits at the Ninh Binh Excursion Restaurant, a 5-star venue offering a buffet with local specialities like goat meat, spring rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice, and vegetable salad, with vegetarian choices available.
Post-lunch, enjoy a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride in Tam Coc, often called “Ha Long Bay on land," where you're treated to breathtaking views of paddy fields, rivers, and caves beneath a tranquil sky.
Next, we'll proceed to Mua Cave (Dragon Peak) where you'll climb almost 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain. This rewards you with a panoramic view of Tam Coc and the lotus fields, particularly stunning during the summer months.
We'll then return to Hanoi, where we'll drop you off at your hotel, concluding the day's exploration.
Day 3
Journey to Sapa
Start your day with an early breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. We will then take a limousine bus to Sapa, a journey of approximately six hours.
Once we arrive in Sapa, you'll be transferred to your accommodation. The afternoon is yours to explore this picturesque mountain town at your leisure.
Day 4
Trek to Ta Van via Y Linh Ho & Lao Chai
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 9:30 am, we'll meet our guide and embark on a 12 km trek. Our journey takes us to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages, home to the Hmong minority.
As we walk, you'll be treated to the breathtaking views of rice terraces and mountain peaks. We'll pause for lunch, either with a local family in Lao Chai or at a nearby riverside cafe.
After refuelling, we'll continue our hike to Ta Van village, inhabited by the Dzay people. Here, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the local way of life, observing traditional customs and daily activities.
We'll spend the night at a homestay in Ta Van, offering you an authentic cultural experience.
Day 5
Trek Back to Sapa & Return to Hanoi
Begin your day with a local breakfast at the homestay before we embark on a trekking adventure. We depart at 9:30 a.m. for an 8 km hike, visiting the Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan villages, home to the Red Dzao and Hmong communities.
Along the way, admire the stunning waterfall and cross a traditional rattan bridge. Marvel at the picturesque valley views and take a walk through the serene bamboo forest.
Afterwards, a bus will collect you from the main road and transfer you to Sapa. You will have some time to explore the town independently before we depart for Hanoi at 15:00 in a limousine bus.
Day 6
Halong Bay Overnight Cruise
Begin your day with breakfast. Our cruise service will collect you directly from your hotel. We will take the most scenic route to Halong Bay, travelling through the picturesque Red River Delta, renowned for its vast stretches of emerald-green rice paddies.
Upon arriving in Halong, we will embark on a cruise to explore the bay, famous for its stunning limestone formations and karst grottoes. After our exploration, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board.
We will then visit one of the bay's renowned limestone caves, where you can choose to kayak or swim, offering a closer look at the floating villages and local shops. As evening approaches, we return to the boat for an early dinner. Afterwards, you have the option to partake in onboard activities or simply relax.
Day 7
Admire the Sunrise from Halong Bay & Transfer to Hoi An
As the sun rises over Halong Bay, we enjoy breakfast whilst our vessel leisurely returns to the port. After an early lunch, we disembark and are transferred to Hanoi airport for our flight to Hoi An.
On arrival, your driver will greet you and take you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at leisure.
Day 8
Explore Hoi An
Today, enjoy a free day in the charming town of Hoi An. We recommend hiring a bicycle from your hotel to explore leisurely. Cycle through the town and head towards the riverside or the beach. Once at the beach, relax with a fresh fruit drink in one of the many small cafes after a refreshing swim in the warm and calm sea.
Day 9
Travel to Bangkok
Enjoy your final moments in Hoi An before your private driver transports you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival at Bangkok International Airport, your driver will meet you and take you to your city centre accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.
Day 10
Discover Bangkok
Upon arrival, our driver and guide will take you to your destination. We'll explore the Grand Palace complex, established in 1782. This site features not only royal and throne halls but also government offices and the famed Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
We'll visit Wat Phra Kaew within the Grand Palace, an unmissable highlight of Bangkok, despite the bustling tourist activity.
Next, we'll head to Wat Pho, known as the "Temple of the Reclining Buddha." Situated just south of the Grand Palace, this temple complex attracts many visitors with its impressive, enormous reclining Buddha statue.
Day 11
Visit Maeklong & Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
We will collect you from your hotel after breakfast to head to Samutsongkram province. Our first stop is the Maeklong Railway Market, an essential Thai attraction. Here, you'll witness the extraordinary sight of a train threading its way through the bustling market as shopkeepers swiftly retract their stalls laden with vegetables and meat.
Next, we drive to Ratchaburi province to visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Upon arrival, we board a long-tailed boat for a 30-minute journey through serene plantations and traditional Thai villages, navigating the river and canals.
At the market, vibrant scenes unfold as local vendors sell a variety of foods, tropical fruits, and handicrafts from their boats. You may choose to board a paddling boat for a firsthand experience of this legendary market.
Day 12
Journey to Bali
Savour the last moments in Hoi An before our private driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Bali. Upon arrival at Denpasar International Airport, a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in the city centre. The remaining time is yours to enjoy at leisure.
Day 13
Explore Ubud, Kintamani & Kuta Beach
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before we set off on a morning tour showcasing Bali’s diverse culture and scenery. We start with the captivating Barong Dance performance, a traditional narrative dance steeped in mythology.
Our next destination is Celuk, a village famed for its exquisite gold and silver craftsmanship. We'll then visit Mas, a prominent centre for the island's renown woodcarving artistry. Our journey continues to Banjar Compound, known for its rich array of handicrafts and vibrant artist community.
In Ubud, wander through its charming corners before we visit Tampak Siring’s Secret Holy Spring Temple. This site is steeped in spiritual significance and offers a moment of quiet reflection.
We will then travel to Kintamani, perched on the edge of the Batur Volcanic basin. Here, you’ll experience awe-inspiring views of Lake Batur and its neighbouring volcano, Mt. Batur. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, with the stunning landscape as your backdrop.
On our return journey, we'll explore a local plantation, abundant with herbs and coffee plants, offering insights into Bali’s agriculture. Later, you can unwind at Kuta Beach, where you may choose to enjoy the sunset or simply relax.
Day 14
Uncover More of Bali
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then join us as we set off to the Bedugul resort. Here, you can explore the vibrant local fruit market before visiting the stunning Ulun Danu Temple, gracefully situated in the middle of Lake Bratan. With its serene surroundings, it's the ideal spot for some memorable photographs.
We break for a buffet lunch at Mentari Restaurant, where you can savour an array of traditional Balinese dishes. Afterwards, we'll visit the iconic Tanah Lot Temple, perched on a rocky outcrop in the sea. This location offers a spectacular view, especially as the sun sets on the horizon.
You'll then have free time to either stroll along the beach or explore the city at your leisure. Consider trying some water activities or shopping for souvenirs to capture the essence of your visit.
Day 15
Bali at Leisure
Spend your day at leisure in Bali, exploring at your own pace. Whether you want to explore further, book a spa treatment, or simply relax by the pool, Bali has no shortage of ways to spend it well.
Day 16
Goodbye Bali
Enjoy a wholesome breakfast on the final day of your journey through Vietnam, Thailand, and Bali. After checking out of the hotel, you may wish to explore the local markets where you'll find unique souvenirs for friends and family. Later, our private driver will take you to the airport for your flight home.
