Customer reviews & ratings
So many core memories were formed in a short 4 weeks jam-packed with new experiences. It was amazing to be exposed to so many wonderful landscapes, cities, cultures, and people. Going with a group made solo travel safe and accessible. I loved the experience! I had a great experience and I believe it was the right choice for me. The company does a great job of planning and creating a great experience for tourists, and our CEO was great. However, depending on the identity of the person who is seeking out the experience, I would advise caution. Based on my experience, I felt that my preferred name was not always used, specifically in the context of optional activities I pre registered for as my given name was shared instead of my preferred name, even after I emailed (unacknowledged) the reminder and shared it on the chat. While I understand with hotels they may need my legal name I believe my preferred one should also be shared and there is no need to disclose my given name other than flights and hotels. While my preferred name is just my middle one, for some friends it may be gender-affirming and using the wrong one (and revealing it to others, such as in my case) could be very problematic for someone who is trans. While I appreciate G Adventure's policies, I think there could be further consideration into how to carry them out into the procedures of the organization.
Elyssa Oct, 2024 VerifiedI truly enjoyed the experience of SE Asia. It was a gruelling trip and again wish I had opted for the National Geographic or GLux options Well regarded and professional
