Itinerary
Day 1
Dinner Party: Shanghai
Please arrive to Shanghai by 11 am so that you have ample time to get settled in and join your CEO and fellow travellers for a welcome briefing and the Dinner Party.
Day 2
We Day: Shanghai
There's no better way to get underneath the skin of a place like digging into a hearty meal. In this case, set off on foot with your CEO first thing in the morning in search of some Shanghainese breakfast staples. Try da bing and you tiao for a sinfully delicious celebration of carbs. You'll be full, but that's what you'll need to keep your energy up as you continue exploring Shanghai with your CEO. Spend most of the day on foot exploring architectural Wukang Road and modern Anfu road. In the afternoon, visit the Yuyuan Garden Area and Yuyuan Bazaar and immerse yourself in local Chinese life. Finally, as the sun begins to set, walk along the famous Bund en route to an optional dinner.
Day 3
G Day: Shanghai
Begin the day with an extra special surprise activity with your fellow Solo-ish travel mates. Then make you way to Zhujiajiao Water Town for a full day exploration of this incredible ancient area. Walk across Zhujiajiao's many bridges, all built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Your expert CEO will point out tons of fascinating things and there will be some time at leisure to hop aboard a boat to float down the canals.
Day 4
Shanghai to Yangzhou
Today we take the bullet train to the city along the Yangtze river, Yangzhou. After an orientation walk, we'll explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Slender West lake. Peppered with beautiful temples, bridges and weeping willow trees. In the evening, walk with your fellow Solo-ish travellers through the lantern lined Dongguan Street. Through hundreds of alleys with names like Peony Lane, Culture Lane and Five Blessings Lane, you'll feel like you're walking through a world of poetry.
Day 5
Yangzhou to Xi'an
After a delicious Dim Sum breakfast, enjoy a free morning to explore Yangzhou. Opt to relax, take a stroll or wander through the beautiful Geyuan Garden. Then catch the bullet train to the ancient city of Xi'An this afternoon.
Day 6
Terracotta Warriors
Today we'll visit one of the most recognized and beloved archeological sites in the world, the Terracotta Warriors Museum. With your camera and your Solo-ish friends, we'll tour this incredible spot. After returning to the city, the afternoon is dedicated to the Xi'an Muslim Quarters. As the eastern terminus of the Silk Road, this historic city has maintained its importance and charm throughout centuries. Spend this time exploring the famous destinations like the Bell Tower and Drum Tower.
Day 7
Xi’an to Luoyang
This morning the gang will head to the famous Xi'an City wall to explore together. Opt to walk along the wall or rent a bike and cruise. Later, travel to the historic charming city of Luoyi Ancient Town. Explore the town at night, admiring the lit lanterns and the reflection of the buildings on the lake.
Day 8
Luoyang to Jinshanling

With over 100,000 stone carvings 2000 caves and almost 3000 carved inscriptions, The Longmen Grottoes' incredible Buddhist work will surely strike you with awe. After the tour, drive to what's known as the most photogenic and popular hiking portion of the Great Wall of China. Jinshanling is one of the only sections of the wall with three story towers and tends to remain less crowded. Once we arrive, we'll join a dumpling making class and enjoy a delicious Chinese dinner together.
Day 9
