Enjoy lunch in a lush garden setting before an afternoon at leisure.
Itinerary
Day 1
Singapore
On arrival at Singapore Changi Airport, we meet our local representative in the arrivals hall and transfer by private transfer to the hotel for check-in.
The remainder of the day is at leisure. You may wish to relax after your journey or begin exploring Singapore at your own pace - a city known for its striking skyline, diverse neighbourhoods and world-class food scene.
Day 2
Singapore Half-Day City Tour
After breakfast, you will be collected at 09:00 for a four-hour half-day city tour. Begin with a drive through the colonial district, passing the Padang, the Esplanade and the Theatres on the Bay. Stop at the Merlion - the half-lion, half-fish national icon that symbolises Singapore’s origins as a fishing village and its name, meaning Lion City.
Continue to Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest and most important Hokkien temples in Singapore, built by early Chinese immigrants in gratitude for safe sea voyages. From here, drive through Chinatown before visiting Little India, once part of the Chulia Kampong area established during British rule under policies of ethnic segregation. Today, it remains a vibrant district filled with temples, shops and colourful street life.
You then visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the National Orchid Garden. Set on a gently hilly three-hectare site, it houses more than 1,000 orchid species and over 2,000 hybrids, showcasing Singapore’s reputation as a centre for orchid cultivation.
Lunch is included at The Halia Restaurant, or similar, located within the one-hectare Ginger Garden of the Botanic Gardens. Surrounded by over 250 species of ginger plants, the restaurant features full-height glass windows that bring the lush greenery indoors, offering a relaxed dining experience in cool comfort.
After lunch, you return to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 3
Singapore
Your short stay in Singapore comes to an end after breakfast and hotel check-out. An included private transfer takes you to the airport.
