Summary
There's no better way to see Tanzania than by sleeping where the wildlife roam, and you'll have the opportunity to do just that on this 12-day tour. Your safari through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro includes an overnight camp at the edge of a crater where lions, buffalo, and zebra like to wander. Then jet over to Zanzibar where historic towns and blissful beaches await. You'll leave with a host of postcard-worthy photos and memorable experiences in your pocket, and perhaps a few grains of sand, too.

Customer reviews & ratings
First, I want to say the cooking team and our driver, Amadi were Outstanding. The food was much better than anticipated from the tour description and Amadi was just as enthusiastic as Carlos our guide, very knowledgeable and I could not believe how good he was at spotting animals. I would absolutely recommend the safari portion of the tour. Don't let the camping deter you! The tents were large and the bathroom were clean. If you have always wanted to go to Africa but need a lower cost version this is the tour for you. I would also like to mention the small tour size, everyone spoke the same language so we got quite close in the short amount of time. I cannot recommend the Zanzibar portion of the trip. The 1 star hotel (we were supposed to be in a 5 star hotel) was truly awful and there was nothing to do. Excellent guides. Safari was amazing. It would be a ten if the accommodations in Zanzibar were better. Going from a 5 star to horrible one star hotel ruined the end of the trip for me. I spent 3 days Washington I was anywhere else.
Robyn Sep, 2024 VerifiedI had a really great time on safari and the hosts (guide drivers cookers etc.) were so friendly and helpful I would easily reccomend this trip to friend or family. I would caveat that with you don't know who you'll end up going with but that's always a bit of a gamble. Unfortunate this time that there were a few challenging people but Emmilian and Goodluck made up for it. I'd probably also recommend to my family or friends to request if possible Emmilian as a guide - he's very passionate about the wildlife and making sure people have a good time. The safari was really good. Got to see so much and the CEO (Emmilian) was very accommodating to requests and ensuring everyone saw what they wanted and was helped in any way necessary. The only reason it didn't get a 10 was that the Zanzibar portion of the trip wasnt as enjoyable and don't think needed G adventures as it's a heavily touristy place.
