  • Day 2

Palm Springs and Journey to Phoenix

Los Angeles - Palm Springs - Phoenix. Our journey begins as we travel through Palm Springs, a desert resort city long associated with Hollywood stars. Set beneath the rugged San Jacinto Mountains, it is known for its lively downtown, manicured golf courses and surrounding wind farms. We continue via Indio, in the Coachella Valley, before travelling onwards to Phoenix.

Motorcoach tour begins today. Please meet in the lobby of the designated hotel at 07:30 for an 08:00 departure.

  • Day 3

    Sedona and the Grand Canyon

Phoenix - Sedona - Grand Canyon. We travel through the Sonoran Desert, one of the most biologically diverse desert regions in the Americas. Continuing to Sedona, we see its striking red-rock formations, including landmarks such as Cathedral Rock and Coffee Pot Rock. We then drive through scenic Oak Creek Canyon before arriving at Grand Canyon National Park, one of the world’s great natural wonders. Here, we take in views of the vast, mile-deep canyon, shaped over millions of years by the Colorado River.

  • Day 4

    Monument Valley and Page

Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Lake Powell. Today we enter the Navajo Nation, passing the historic trading post at Cameron and travelling through the Painted Desert. We continue to Monument Valley, famous for its towering sandstone buttes and some of the most recognisable landscapes of the American West. Later, we arrive in Page, set on a mesa above the Colorado River, where the evening is at leisure.

  • Day 5

    Lake Powell and Bryce Canyon

Lake Powell - Kanab - Bryce Canyon National Park. We visit Glen Canyon Dam, the second-highest concrete-arch dam in the United States, with views over Lake Powell and its dramatic red-rock canyon walls. We then enter Utah and travel through Kanab before continuing to Bryce Canyon, known for its remarkable amphitheatres of colourful rock spires. This evening, weather permitting, you can look up at the clear night sky, often filled with bright stars and constellations.

  • Day 6

Zion National Park and Las Vegas

Bryce Canyon National Park - Zion - Las Vegas. We travel to Zion National Park, where massive sandstone cliffs and rock formations have been shaped by wind, time and the Virgin River. Later, we continue to Las Vegas, Nevada - the famous “Entertainment Capital of the World” - where shopping, shows and casinos create a dramatic contrast to the landscapes of the past few days.

  • Day 7

    Las Vegas at Leisure

Today is at leisure to enjoy Las Vegas at your own pace. You might explore the famous Strip, browse designer outlets, visit the casinos or see one of the city’s many shows.

  • Day 8

Return to Los Angeles and Departure

Las Vegas - Mojave - Los Angeles. We leave the lights and energy of Las Vegas behind and travel across the Mojave Desert back to Los Angeles. The tour concludes on arrival.
