  • Day 1

    Cairo

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our tour representative will assist with immigration, passport control, and baggage collection. We'll then proceed to our hotel in Cairo, where you can freshen up. Afterwards, our Egyptologist tour guide will provide an introduction to the exciting activities planned for the next eight days.

This evening, the choice is yours: relax at the hotel, explore the city independently, or opt for a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum. There, you can marvel at the entire collection from Tutankhamun’s tomb, housed in a world-class setting.

  • Day 2

    Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara

This morning, join your Egyptologist guide to explore the famed ancient wonders of Egypt. We'll visit the Giza pyramid complex to marvel at the Great Pyramid of Giza, Khafre's Pyramid, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the iconic Great Sphinx. Next, we travel to Saqqara to witness the remarkable step pyramid of Djoser, Egypt's first pyramid, constructed from six stacked tombs.

For an unforgettable evening, you may choose to attend the optional sound and light show at the Giza Pyramids or enjoy a dinner cruise on the Nile River, featuring Egyptian cuisine, culture, and dancing.

Please note: The flight to Aswan will take place either tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on availability.

  • Day 3

Cairo to Aswan & Philae Temple

Cairo - Aswan. Aswan beckons! We begin our day with an early flight to Aswan (included), leading us to our elegant 5-star Nile cruise ship. Once comfortably settled in, we're off on our first excursion.

A brief boat journey takes us to Agilkia Island, where we will explore the impressive Temple of Isis at Philae. This temple, built during the Ptolemaic Kingdom from 305 BC to 30 BC, is dedicated to the ancient Egyptian goddess Isis, renowned as one of Egypt’s earliest deities. Admire its breathtaking architecture, celebrated as one of the most beautiful temple complexes in Egypt. This evening, unwind and relish your inaugural night aboard as we cruise along the magnificent Nile.

  • Day 4

Optional Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo & Luxor

Aswan - Luxor. This morning, you have the option to visit the remarkable Abu Simbel temples, a monumental testament to ancient Egypt's grandeur. These colossal structures, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments," were exquisitely carved from the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC.

We then proceed to the Temple of Kom-Ombo, renowned for its unusual 'double' design. Here, we explore the dual sanctuaries dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus), the falcon god.

Our day concludes as we journey to Luxor for an overnight stay aboard a luxurious 5-star cruise ship.

  • Day 5

    Karnak & Luxor Temple

After breakfast, we'll disembark to explore Luxor's remarkable East Bank. Our first stop is the expansive Karnak Temple Complex in the ancient city of Thebes, today known as Luxor. This impressive site, dedicated to Amun, the ram-headed god, boasts a diverse array of temples, chapels, statues, and obelisks.

Next, we'll visit the Luxor Temple complex, dedicated to a triad of gods: Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. These temples were the focal point of the annual Opet Festival, which strengthened the connection between the pharaoh and Amun during the flood season.

  • Day 6

    Luxor West Bank & Hurghada

Luxor - Hurghada. This morning, we'll head to Luxor's West Bank to explore the renowned Valley of the Kings, home to the awe-inspiring tombs of New Kingdom Pharaohs, including the famous tomb of King Tutankhamun. Next, we'll visit the striking Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Egypt's only female Pharaoh. Our final stop is the Colossi of Memnon, the imposing remnants of Pharaoh Amenophis III’s temple.

We also admire the elegant interior of the Ben Ezra Synagogue, steeped in fascinating history.
