Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Nepal
Once in Nepal transfer straight from Kathmandu to the tranquil hill town of Dhulikhel, set against a backdrop of Himalayan peaks. After settling in, there's time to relax or explore before we gather for a welcome dinner.
Day 2
Dhulikhel to Bhaktapur and Kathmandu
An early breakfast fuels a scenic 90-minute walk to Kavre Village, passing the hilltop Kali Temple with sweeping mountain vistas along the way. Later we drive to the capital, stopping in Bhaktapur to explore its beautifully preserved Durbar Square and the towering Nyatapola Temple. We arrive in Kathmandu by evening.
Day 3
Kathmandu and Patan
Those keen for a bucket-list moment can join an optional scenic flight past Mount Everest this morning. We then discover Kathmandu’s historic heart with a visit to Durbar Square, once the seat of the royal palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, we cross the river to Patan, a city rich in Newari culture and artistry, where we meet a former Kumari - Nepal’s revered living goddess - for a rare insight into her experience.
Day 4
Kathmandu
We begin at Pashupatinath, one of Hinduism’s holiest temples, before heading to the majestic stupa of Boudhanath, a key site of Tibetan Buddhism. A visit to the Bamboo School follows, a project supporting education for disadvantaged youth. The rest of the afternoon is yours to unwind or explore.
Day 5
Kathmandu to Pokhara
A short flight takes us to Pokhara, nestled beside a shimmering lake and surrounded by the Annapurna range. After checking in, we head out for a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, taking in reflections of the surrounding peaks.
Day 6
Pokhara
We set off on foot to the World Peace Pagoda, a whitewashed stupa perched high above the valley with breathtaking views. Afterwards, we visit the thundering Davis Falls, meet local artisans at the Tibetan refugee camp, and round off the day at the International Mountain Museum.
Day 7
Pokhara to Kathmandu
This morning we fly back to Kathmandu with free time in the afternoon to shop, explore or relax. In the evening, we come together to enjoy a farewell dinner accompanied by traditional music and dance.
Day 8
Departure
After breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our onward journeys, taking with us unforgettable memories of Nepal’s mountains, monuments, and cultural richness.
