• What kind of accommodation can I expect on this trip?

  You will stay in hotels for 8 nights throughout the trip.

• What meals are included in this trip?

  The trip includes 8 breakfasts, 6 lunches, and 6 dinners.

• What are the modes of transportation on my trip?

  Transportation includes private vehicles, planes, 4x4 vehicles, walking, and river canoes.

• How large will the group be?

  The maximum group size for this tour is 16 travelers.

• Who will be leading the group?

  A Chief Experience Officer (CEO) will lead the group throughout the trip, supported by local guides.

• Is travel insurance required for my trip?

  Yes, travel insurance is compulsory. You must have a minimum coverage of USD200,000 for medical expenses, including emergency evacuation and repatriation. Coverage for personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage is strongly recommended.

• How old must I be to join this trip?

  The minimum age to join this trip is 18 years.

• Is there an extra cost for travelling solo?

  Our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travelers are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex.

• Will I get my own room?

  If you book the 'My Own Room' option for this tour, you will receive your own single room for all night stops.

• Should I be tipping on my trip?

  On Geluxe Collection tours, tipping for all included activities and meals is covered. Tipping for the CEO (Chief Experience Officer) or porterage is not included. A guideline of $10-15 USD per person, per day for the CEO and $4-5 USD per person, per day for porters is suggested. For non-included meals and activities, a 10% tip is appropriate.

• How much emergency money should I bring on this trip?

  It is recommended to have access to at least an additional USD $200 (or equivalent) as an 'emergency' fund for unforeseen circumstances outside of our control.

• Are local flights included in the cost of the trip?

  Yes, all local flights are included in the cost of your tour unless otherwise noted. It is important that we have your passport information at the time of booking to process these tickets.

• What activities are optional on this trip?

  While the tour states 'No optional activities', on your 'OMG Day' in Pokhara, you have choices for included activities: a morning session of Yoga or a Sound Bath, and an afternoon option of cycling around Pame or a Mandala Art workshop.

• How should I dress to respect local customs during the tour?

  In Asia, dress standards are more conservative. Pack loose, lightweight, long clothing suitable for hot and humid climates. When visiting temples, mosques, or other holy sites, dress respectfully by avoiding very short shorts/skirts and singlets/tank tops.

• What do I need to know about safety and security on my trip?

  We recommend checking your government's travel advice. Use a neck wallet or money belt for valuables and leave expensive jewelry at home. Many hotels offer safety deposit boxes. Your group leader (CEO) can amend the itinerary for safety concerns and will accompany you on all included activities. During free time, use good judgment for optional activities and consider traveling in small groups or taking taxis at night in cities. Water-based activities should only be participated in when accompanied by a guide(s).

• What rules should I know before joining this trip?

  Illegal drugs will not be tolerated, as they contravene local laws and put the group at risk. Smoking marijuana and opium is not acceptable for travelers. The exploitation of people in the sex trade is completely contrary to our philosophy. CEOs have the right to expel group members found with drugs or utilizing the services of paid sex workers.
