Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Welcome to Hanoi

Embark on your Vietnam adventure as you arrive in Hanoi. Our private driver will greet you at the airport, holding a sign with your name, and take you to your accommodation situated in the vibrant heart of the city.

The captivating Old Quarter is just a stone's throw away, inviting you to explore its bustling streets at your leisure. Alternatively, unwind at the hotel after your journey.

  • Day 2

Explore Ancient Capitals & Karst Valleys

Our friendly guide will collect us for the journey to Ninh Binh province. En route, we’ll have a brief pause to refresh. Our first destination is Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010, where we’ll delve into the Vietnamese feudal era under the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties.

We'll then embark on a cycling tour around the village, allowing us to explore the local lifestyle firsthand. Lunch follows at the Ninh Binh Excursion Restaurant, a 5-star venue serving an array of local dishes such as goat meat, spring rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice, and vegetable salad, with vegetarian choices also on offer.

Post-lunch, we’ll enjoy a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride in Tam Coc, often called "Ha Long Bay on land". The trip promises breathtaking views of paddy fields, rivers, and caves under a tranquil sky.

Our next stop is Mua Cave (Dragon Peak). Here, you’ll climb almost 500 steps to the summit of Lying Dragon Mountain. The effort is rewarded with a panoramic view of Tam Coc and, during the summer, the lotus fields in full bloom.

We’ll then return to Hanoi, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of our tour.

  • Day 3

    Halong Bay Overnight Cruise

In the morning, we will check out of the hotel and be collected by the cruise team. We will embark on a scenic journey to Halong Bay, travelling through the vibrant Red River Delta, where endless emerald rice paddies stretch before us.

Upon arrival at the pier, you'll board the cruise, taking in the stunning vistas of limestone formations and karst grottoes. We will enjoy a delectable seafood lunch as we relax on the sundeck, soaking up the bay's beauty.

The cruise will then take us to a secluded spot for kayaking or swimming, allowing us to explore the karst grottoes up close. Later in the evening, we'll return to the boat for an early dinner, after which you'll have free time. You can choose to participate in onboard activities or simply unwind.

Please note: In the event of inclement weather preventing the boat from setting sail or anchoring overnight, the Halong Bay tour may be cancelled without notice. Alternative tours or refunds will be considered based on the situation.

  • Day 4

Sunrise on the Bay & Return to Hanoi

Start your day early with the spectacular sight of sunrise, followed by breakfast in the dining room. Join us on the sun deck for a Tai Chi class to invigorate your mind and body. Next, we explore a fascinating limestone cave, adorned with impressive stalagmites and stalactites.

After our exploration, we return to the boat to check out and enjoy a brunch as we sail back to the harbour. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in Hanoi.

  • Day 5

    Travel to Hoi An

Enjoy the last moments in Hanoi before your private driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Hoi An.

Upon landing at Danang International Airport, you'll be greeted by your driver who will transport you to your accommodation in Hoi An's historic Old Quarter. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

  • Day 6

    Hoi An at Leisure

Today is entirely your own. Hoi An rewards slow exploration - hire a bicycle and ride toward the riverside or the beach, stop at a roadside cafe for a fresh fruit drink, or take a dip in the warm sea.

The town is also well known for its tailors, and if you want something made to measure - clothing or bags - this is the day to place an order. Come evening, the Old Town comes into its own as lanterns are lit along the waterways and street performers take their places.

Alternatively, you may choose to join a Ba Na Hills optional full day tour. Our minivan and guide will collect you from your hotel lobby for a scenic drive to Ba Na Hills. We will journey via Southeast Asia's most advanced cable car system to Dream Stream Cable Car Station, offering stunning views of Da Nang's coast.

Upon completing the first cable car leg, we will visit the renowned Golden Bridge, an architectural marvel featured in the British press. Explore Le Jardin D'Amour with its nine themed gardens, and the spiritual Linh Ung Pagoda.

Next, we will board the second cable car to the French Village. Here, you can enjoy lively street performances, admire art installations, and visit landmarks such as the Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, and Tombstone Temple. Don't miss the vibrant Carnival Performance Show at Square Du Dome. Lunch follows with a buffet at a local restaurant.

Afterwards, take the Lava Train from Sun Kingdom to explore new attractions including Helios Waterfall, Time Gate, and The Moon Kingdom. We will then head to Fantasy Park. Walk through the whimsical Fairy Forest, explore Dinosaur Park, or test your bravery on attractions like the 5D Wild West ride, 4D Death Race, and 3D Mega 360 Degrees.

Challenge yourself further with the thrilling Freefall Tower, a journey into Jurassic Park, or a spooky adventure in Horror House - plus over 90 more free games. We will reconvene for the return cable car ride from Ba Na Hills. Our minivan will transport you back to your hotel.

  • Day 7

Continue to Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy your final moments in Hoi An before our private driver takes you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, your driver will meet you and escort you to your centrally located accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at leisure.

  • Day 8

    Mekong Delta Experience

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before our journey to the Mekong Delta. Our guide will meet us in the hotel lobby between 7:15 and 7:30 am, and we'll travel to My Tho, located on the left bank of the Mekong River.

On arrival, we'll board a sampan and cruise past the picturesque Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. Our first stop is Unicorn Island, where we'll stroll through the country lanes and explore local orchards. You'll have the chance to visit fruit plantations, sample tropical fruits, and enjoy traditional folk songs performed by local musicians.

Next, we take a hand-rowed sampan through the serene Thoi Son canal, soaking in the idyllic countryside views. We'll also visit family workshops and a honey-bee farm to taste honey tea and coconut candies.

We'll pause for a traditional Vietnamese lunch before cycling through Tan Thach village. Here, we meet local residents and experience daily life in the Mekong Delta. Alternatively, if cycling isn't for you, simply relax in a hammock and enjoy the cooling breeze.

Afterwards, we'll return to our accommodation.

  • Day 9

    Uncover Cu Chi Tunnels

Join us for a fascinating exploration of the Cu Chi Tunnels, a renowned historical site from the Vietnam War. Located about 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City, these tunnels span over 220 km and offer invaluable insights into Vietnam's wartime history and the resilience of its people.

As we leave the city, relish the picturesque journey through vibrant rice fields, where ducks and water buffaloes meander through the rivers. It's remarkable to think this peaceful landscape once bore the brunt of relentless bombings during the war.

Upon arrival at Cu Chi, we will delve into the subterranean labyrinth. Walk through sections of the tunnels, explore hidden chambers, and envisage the life of resistance soldiers.

For those keen on culinary history, there's an opportunity to cook with smokeless stoves, much like the Vietnamese soldiers did, and taste their traditional wartime meals. If you're adventurous or curious, you may try firing an AK-47, a notable weapon from the era.

In the afternoon, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City, concluding the tour at 2:30 pm. Spend a restful night in the city, reflecting on the day's memorable experiences.

  • Day 10

    Journey to Bali

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before we catch our flight to Bali. Once we touchdown at Denpasar International Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and accompany you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure.

  • Day 11

    Discover Bali

We will collect you from your hotel in the morning. Our first stop is the Bali Swing, an exhilarating experience if you fancy an adrenaline boost. You can swing high above lush rice fields, taking in the stunning views below.

Next, we'll visit a coffee plantation to witness the traditional process of making Balinese coffee. You'll have the opportunity to taste the renowned Luwak coffee, made with beans that have passed through a civet cat. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Prepare for an adventure as we embark on white water rafting at the Ayung River. This two-hour journey combines thrilling rapids, breathtaking vistas, and knowledgeable guides, ensuring a memorable experience for all ages.

We will visit the iconic Tanah Lot Temple, famous for its unique offshore setting. As one of Bali's most significant sea temples, it offers spectacular views, especially at dusk, with the temple silhouetted against the vibrant hues of the sunset and the crashing waves below.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. We will return you to your hotel for an overnight stay in Bali.

  • Day 12

Visit Nusa Penida & Jimbaran Beach

A fast boat picks you up at 6:30 am and you arrive at Nusa Penida at 9:00 am. Visit Crystal Bay. Here, the water is exceptionally clear, offering a remarkable view of marine life. You may choose to explore the area on your own or snorkel and observe hundreds of vibrant fish.

Visit Angel’s Billabong Beach. Discover this stunning natural infinity pool - an extraordinary display of nature's beauty. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Explore Broken Beach (Pasih Uug). This unique geological site features 200-metre high cliffs shaped by centuries of sea abrasion, forming a spectacular archway. Visit Kelingking Beach. Be mesmerised by the iconic T-Rex-shaped cliffs and the brilliant blue ocean views.

Return to Bali Island by Fast Boat. Experience a romantic sunset dinner at Jimbaran Beach. Savour your meal on the expansive beachfront as the sun sets. Return to your hotel for overnight accommodation in Bali.
