Summary

Jump on this quick (and affordable) seven-day tour of some of Europe's greatest cities. See what's so nice about Nice, snap the expected "holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa" shot, and then explore Gaudí's famous architecture. And hey, think of the food to be tried on a tour from Rome to Barcelona! (Good thing you'll be walking so much.) Travel on trains and leave the coach bus behind on this life-changing experience.

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Rome

    Arrive at any time.

“On an evening in Roma…” Venture out to a bar or pub with your CEO and fellow travellers for drinks and conversation. As you explore the winding cobblestone streets and sidewalks of The Eternal City, prepare for the endless excitement about to unfold on the rest of your journey. We highly recommend arriving a day or two earlier to experience all that this amazing city has to offer.

  • Day 2

    Rome/Pisa

Arrive in Pisa, join your CEO for an orientation walk and spend your free time in this beautiful city. Choose to check out the famous Leaning Tower.

  • Day 3

    Pisa

Jump on the train and explore the spectacular coastal path between Riomaggiore and Monterosso. Visit charming, colourful towns along the way with an included national park pass and unlimited train ticket. This allows you to discover the region's allure at your own pace.

  • Day 4

    Pisa/Nice

Continue to the French Riviera and enjoy a free afternoon in Nice. Opt to go for a hike along the coast, or take a day trip to nearby beaches and villages.

  • Day 5

    Monaco Day Trip

Take a day trip by train to nearby Monaco. Get your bearings with your CEO and set off on foot to explore the world's second-smallest country (only the Vatican is smaller). What it may lack in size it more than makes up for in style.

  • Day 6

    Nice/Barcelona

Travel by private vehicle from Nice to Marseilles before taking the train to Barcelona. Join your CEO on an orientation walk of your surroundings before participating in a the tour operator supported tapas cooking class served and prepared by migrant students. Afterward, enjoy a Big Night Out on the town.

  • Day 7

    Barcelona

Depart at any time. We recommend staying an extra day or two to fully experience all this lively city has to offer.

  • I Cannot recommend this tour enough. Our Tour guide, Kelsey was brilliant, sights were incredible and the whole experience was 10X better than I could have imagined. Honestly, book a tour with G Adventures. Its the best thing I've done yet. It was a quick tour but perfect to see and do new things. I arrived an anxious wreck, but everyone was so welcoming and supportive it quickly changed. If I went solo travelling without Gadventures I think it would have been a very different experience. Kelsie the tour guide was absolutely incredible. Myself and one of the other gents on the tour missed our first train, but Kelsie was so understanding and helpful for us to catch back up, we actually made back time. There were lots of people from many different countries on the tour and lots of different personalities, our CEO was incredible in making sure EVERYONE was looked after and felt at ease. People say you find yourself when you go travelling. G adventures was the catalyst in that. I am already looking at other tours, the ONLY problem is that I dont know if it will live up to the last.

  • It's difficult to put into words how amazing of a time I had with G adventures. It was my first time traveling alone before the trip (I came to Rome 3 nights earlier) so I was a bit nervous about that. But the group I joined were so social and kind, and I loved being able to share my experience for the week with others in a similar demographic amd age to me. I got to meet other travelers in a similar situation to me (they were young solo travellers) I was still able to leave the group and do some things alone if I wanted There is a lot of moving and can get very tiring very quickly so it can be difficult if you want to do more peaceful and quiet travel
