Itinerary
Day 1
Travel through Cordoba to Seville
Madrid – Cordoba – Seville. We journey across the plains of La Mancha, known as Don Quixote’s land, with a brief view of a typical site near Puerto Lapice. We continue through Despenaperros, the natural gateway into Andalusia, a region with a remarkable cultural legacy shaped by centuries of splendour.
On arrival in Cordoba, we explore its celebrated Mosque, a masterpiece of Andalusian architecture. Afterwards, we stroll through the narrow, winding lanes of the Jewish Quarter, offering a glimpse into the city’s multicultural past. In the afternoon, we travel onwards to Seville, a short two-hour drive away. On arrival, we settle into our hotel for the night.
Day 2
Explore Seville
After breakfast, we begin a comprehensive city tour, including entrance to the Cathedral - the second largest in the Catholic world after St Peter’s in Rome. We also visit the Barrio de Santa Cruz, once the heart of the old Jewish Quarter and later the evocative setting for Carmen and the Don Juan legend. The tour continues through Maria Luisa Park and the impressive Plaza de Espana.
You have the afternoon at leisure to discover Seville at your own pace and enjoy its vibrant atmosphere.
Day 3
Goodbye Madrid
Seville – Madrid. Following breakfast, we transfer to Santa Justa Station for the high-speed train to Madrid, where your journey comes to an end.
