Welcome to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you'll meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy a welcome drink before choosing how to spend your time at leisure – either unwind at the hotel or take a gentle stroll to explore the nearby surroundings.

  • Day 2

    Morning Markets and Mekong Sunsets

Today we explore the UNESCO-listed old quarter of Luang Prabang. We begin at the lively morning market before strolling along the town’s main street and visiting the National Museum, once the Royal Palace. We’ll then head to Wat Xieng Thong – widely regarded as Laos' most exquisite temple. In the late afternoon, we board a boat for a scenic sunset cruise on the Mekong River.

  • Day 3

A Second Glimpse of Luang Prabang

We continue discovering Luang Prabang, retracing yesterday’s highlights for those who may have missed them or wish to see them in more depth. In the evening, we gather for dinner to share reflections on our time in this charming city.

  • Day 4

    Mountain Roads and Limestone Valleys

This morning we journey through the dramatic mountains of north-central Laos. En route, we visit traditional Hmong villages. The Hmong are an ethnic group with roots in the mountainous regions of Laos and southern China, known for their rich cultural traditions. Our day ends in Vang Vieng, a small town set amidst striking limestone cliffs and the tranquil Nam Song River.

  • Day 5

    Discovering Vientiane’s Colonial Charm

We drive to Vientiane, the laid-back capital of Laos, noted for its mix of French colonial architecture and Buddhist heritage. We begin with a tuk-tuk ride to the Patuxai Monument, then walk along Lane Xang Avenue, stopping at the Morning Market and COPE – a centre supporting those affected by unexploded ordnance. We visit Wat Si Muang, Wat Sisaket, and pause outside the Presidential Palace. Enjoy a local coffee and croissant in Anouvong Park before continuing to the riverside. In the evening, we come together for a farewell dinner, celebrating the journey we've shared.
