After the tour, the rest of the day is at leisure in Seville. If you choose, there's an optional river cruise on the Guadalquivir, offering panoramic views of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or you can visit the Maestranza bullring. In the evening, as an optional activity, you can attend a flamenco show.
Day 3
Seville to Cordoba
Seville - Cordoba. After breakfast, we depart for Cordoba. Upon arrival, we begin our walking tour, starting at the Almodovar Gate and exploring the Jewish Quarter, followed by a visit to the renowned Mosque-Cathedral. The afternoon is free for leisure activities.
Day 4
Ronda & Costa del Sol
Cordoba - Ronda - Costa del Sol. After breakfast, we'll depart for the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. You'll have some free time to take in sweeping views from the Puente Nuevo bridge, explore the historic bullring, or stroll through the charming old town with its whitewashed buildings and quiet plazas. Then, we'll continue on to the Costa del Sol for the night. On most departures, we stay in the town of Torremolinos, though this is subject to change.
Day 5
Spain to Morocco
Costa del Sol - Tangier (Morocco) - Assilah - Rabat. It's time to say goodbye to Spain as we check out after breakfast and head to the port for an included ferry journey across the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier.
Arriving in Morocco, we enjoy a stop in the picturesque city of Assilah for a leisurely lunch en route to the country's capital city, Rabat. Your first evening in Morocco is at leisure.
Day 6
Rabat & Fes
Rabat - Fes. After breakfast, we explore Rabat, Morocco's capital and one of its imperial cities. Our tour will include key landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, an unfinished mosque that stands prominently over an esplanade filled with more than 200 columns, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, built in honour of the sultan who secured the country's independence. The monument's entrance is guarded by the royal guard, dressed in vibrant ceremonial attire and mounted on horseback.
After touring Rabat, we continue to Fes, the intellectual and religious heart of Morocco. Enjoy a panoramic tour featuring the royal palace with its seven gates of Dar Al-Makhzen, and venture into the fascinating medina of Fes El Bali. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this medina is the oldest and largest in Morocco, boasting 785 mosques and over 2000 squares, streets, and alleys, creating a labyrinthine journey back in time. Our walk will take us from Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine Square, uncovering centuries of history from the 9th to the 19th century. Along the way, we will explore the structure of the medina's streets and walls and visit artisan districts like those of the leather tanners and seamstresses to observe traditional working methods. We'll also visit a Medersa and conclude with the rhythmic sound of potters working copper in the same manner as they did hundreds of years ago. Lunch today is included at a local restaurant, and the rest of the day is at leisure in Fes.
Day 7
The Blue City & Tangier
Fes - Chefchaouen - Tangier. Today we are visiting the iconic Blue City of Chefchaouen, renowned as one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities in Morocco.
