Itinerary
Day 1
Tokyo
Arrive in Tokyo and head to the hostel to check in and meet your Tru Leader. If you’re up for it, explore a bit before we all meet for a welcome dinner and our first night out.
Day 2
Tokyo
This morning we’ll explore Tokyo, including a visit to Senso-ji Temple and a quick matcha stop. Then it’s time for a sake tasting before heading to the bright lights of Shinjuku to wrap up our first full day in Japan.
Day 3
Tokyo
It’s our last full day in Tokyo! We’ll visit the Meiji Shrine before heading to Golden Gai for food and drinks. After dinner, rest up, or join us for a bit of karaoke!
Day 4
Tokyo/Hakone
Off to Odawara! We'll take a cable car for scenic views, enjoy a cruise, then check in and explore the area.
Day 5
Hakone/Kyoto
We're up early today to visit the famous Fushimi-Inari Shrine before the crowds. After we’ll visit Arashiyama and experience a traditional tea ceremony.
Day 6
Kyoto
This morning, we'll head straight out to the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. If you are looking for the ultimate pic for the gram, now's your chance! Later on, we'll head over to the beautiful Kinkaku-Ji before stepping into the world of Samurai! Epic right?
Day 7
Kyoto/Koyasan
Today we head into the mountains to Koyasan, known for its many temples. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Japan’s oldest cemetery on a walking tour and dive into its fascinating history
Day 8
Koyasan/Hiroshima
Ready for some history? We're heading to Hiroshima this morning, one of the two cities that were victims of the atomic bombings in 1945. Today, it's a bustling city that is SO worth visiting. We'll start our time here with a visit to the museum, which will give us an insight into life here after the events of 1945
Day 9
Hiroshima
Today, we'll have free time for you to spend as you please, explore more of the city's highlights, browse the shops and head to one of the many parks in the city for a peaceful escape.
Day 10
Hiroshima/Osaka
We're travelling towards Osaka today! We'll end our journey on a local train that will take us through the magical mountains of Wakayama! Once we arrive, we'll visit the stunning Osaka Castle, which is like something out of a Disney movie! This evening, after a bit of free time, we'll explore Dotonbori, famous for its incredible street food and bright neon signs.
Day 11
Osaka
Back to Osaka! We'll take a sushi-making class before lunch, then spend the afternoon sightseeing. Tonight, we’ll enjoy one final group meal—emotions incoming!
Day 12
Osaka
And just like that, our trip has come to and end! Whether you're heading home or continuing your journey, your Tru Leader will help you with next steps. See you next time!
