Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Joburg to Kruger

    Johannesburg - Kruger National Park. Your South African wildlife adventure begins today! Arrive in Johannesburg and make your way to a hotel near the airport. Here, meet up with your tour leader and fellow travellers. Then, it's time to head to the famous Kruger National Park Region. Arrive at the hotel this evening. Get to know the rest of the group with an included dinner tonight. Get some rest because tomorrow holds a whole day of safari experiences!

  • Day 2

    Kruger National Park Safari

    After breakfast this morning, head into the Kruger National Park for a full-day game drive. This is your chance to spot animals in the wild! Keep your eyes peeled for African animals such as elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, wild dogs and more. Hopefully, you’ll get to tick off the Big 5! Later this afternoon, move to a hotel on the western side of the park. Relax by the pool, take a dip or enjoy a cocktail before tonight’s included dinner.

  • Day 3

    Kruger at Leisure

    Look forward to a full free day in the Kruger National Park! Opt to join another full-day game drive and enjoy more incredible wildlife sightings. The experienced game rangers will drive through prime viewing areas and stop at waterholes and rest stops. Be sure to snap plenty of photos of the spectacular scenery and majestic animals. Half-day and sunset game drives are also available today. Save some time to spend at the pool before another included dinner tonight.

  • Day 4

    Kruger at Leisure

    It may be the last day in the Kruger National Park but the safari escapades aren’t over yet! If you’ve done the full-day safari previously, perhaps take this opportunity to embark on a half-day sunrise game drive or a sunset game drive. With over 100 reptiles, 140 mammals and 500 bird species, you’re sure to see something new every day! Make the most of the last night in the Kruger Park and enjoy one last dinner as well as drinks around the bush fire. Be sure to try Amarula - a local liqueur - if you haven’t already.Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 5

    Panorama Route & Blyde River Canyon

    Kruger National Park - Panorama Route - Johannesburg. Wave farewell to the wild as the tour makes its way to the Panorama Route, an exceptionally picturesque area in the Mpumalanga province.

    First up on this scenic journey is a stop at the Three Rondavels viewing point in the Drakensberg. These spectacular geological formations are a sight to behold! Next up is Bourke’s Luck Potholes, an otherworldly water feature made up of hundreds of plunge pools and potholes at the mouth of the Blyde River Canyon. Then, it’s time to head back to the city of Johannesburg. After checking into the hotel, enjoy a farewell dinner with the group.

  • Day 6

    Johannesburg

    This unforgettable journey through the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route comes to an end after breakfast this morning. However, you could opt to stay longer and explore Johannesburg. Choose to embark on an optional half-day tour of the lively and historic township of Soweto! Enjoy the last of your time in sunny South Africa and have a safe journey onwards.
