Kinabatangan River Safari (Private room) - 3 Days

Once you have arrived in Sandakan town, you are collected from your designated pick-up point for an overland journey to your riverside accommodation in Kampung Bilit, along the Kinabatangan River. On arrival, the staff give you a short briefing on the accommodation and general safety precautions before you check in to your eco-lodge.At 4 pm, you set off on a river cruise along the Kinabatangan River, keeping a lookout for Bornean wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, orangutans and pygmy elephants along the way.You return to the lodge for dinner, followed by an overnight stay at your accommodation.

You wake early to the calls of gibbons and hornbills for an early morning river cruise along the Kinabatangan River, before returning to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.Afterwards, you head out on a one-hour guided jungle trek through the rainforest surrounding the lodge, then return for lunch on the deck overlooking the river.In the afternoon, you join a further river cruise, giving you another chance to spot the area's wildlife, which can vary from day to day as the animals move along the riverbanks. You return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

This morning, you join one final river cruise along the Kinabatangan River before checking out of your lodge.You are then transferred back to Sandakan town or Sandakan Airport, bringing your tour to a close.
