Summary
Discover the highlands and coastline of Sabah on this 5-day tour from Kota Kinabalu. Begin with a sunset dinner cruise along the coast, complete with a buffet and live music. From here, cross the historic Tamparuli suspension bridge, browse the market at Nabalu, and meet the cattle at Desa Cow Farm. The tour continues to Kinabalu National Park, followed by a canopy treetop walk and a soak in the hot springs at Poring, before settling into the Sabah Tea Garden estate. The tour concludes with a tea plantation tour, a fish spa, and the return to Kota Kinabalu.
Itinerary
Day 1
Kota Kinabalu Arrival & South China Sea Sunset Dinner Cruise
Once you have arrived in Kota Kinabalu, you are transferred to your accommodation to check in and relax.Later, you head to Sutera Harbour Marina Jetty for an evening aboard the North Borneo Cruise. You sail along the South China Sea, passing islands and water villages, with the choice of soaking up sunset views from the upper deck or enjoying live music and a buffet dinner in the cosy, air-conditioned dining deck below.You then return to the jetty and are transferred back to your accommodation for the night.
Day 2
Tamparuli Bridge, Nabalu Market & Desa Cow Farm
After breakfast, you journey to Tamparuli Town to cross the famed Jambatan Tamparuli suspension bridge, celebrated in local folklore. You continue to Nabalu Market for local produce and handicrafts, set against a backdrop of Mount Kinabalu.At Desa Cow Farm, often called "Little New Zealand of Sabah," you meet Holstein Friesian cows, feed the calves, and sample fresh dairy products such as yoghurt and gelato, from a farm producing around 150,000 litres of milk each month.
Day 3
Kinabalu National Park, Poring Hot Springs, Canopy Walk & Sabah Tea Garden
After breakfast, you check out and continue to Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of the Kinabalu UNESCO Global Geopark, a biodiversity hotspot with around 4,500 plant species, including endemic orchids.Afterwards, you unwind at Poring Hot Springs, soaking in Japanese-inspired mineral pools, or refreshing in a nearby cold pool. A short hike leads you to the Canopy Treetop Walk, elevated 30 metres above the ground.Later, you check in to your cottage at Sabah Tea Garden for an evening surrounded by tea estates and views towards Mount Kinabalu.
Day 4
Sabah Tea Plantation & Factory Tour, Fish Spa & Kota Kinabalu Return
After breakfast, you explore Sabah Tea Garden's organic tea plantation and factory, learning about tea cultivation from harvest through to packaging amid tranquil scenery and birdsong.Following check-out, you head to a nearby fish spa, where local fish gently remove dead skin from your feet, leaving them soft and refreshed. The day concludes with a scenic 3-hour transfer back to Kota Kinabalu, where you check in for the night.
Day 5
Checkout & Kota Kinabalu Airport Departure
After breakfast, you check out and transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your departure, bringing your tour of Sabah to a close.
