Itinerary
Day 1
Litchfield Florence Falls, Wangi Falls Swim & Kakadu National Park Arrival
Our tour departs Darwin bound for Batchelor, the gateway to Litchfield National Park, with a bird's-eye view of Florence Falls from the scenic viewing platform as it cascades into the plunge pool below.
Please note: a passenger weight limit of 120kg applies to flights included in this tour; please contact us in advance if your weight exceeds this amount.
Our next stop is Wangi Falls, where we take a dip in the crystal-clear swimming hole and enjoy a light lunch, before crossing the Adelaide River into Kakadu National Park - an incredible wilderness destination, dual-listed by UNESCO for both its natural and cultural values, for a 2-night stay.
Day 2
Kakadu 60-Minute Scenic Flight, East Alligator River Indigenous Cruise & Ubirr Rock Art
This morning, we take to the skies for a 60-minute scenic flight over Kakadu's dramatic escarpments, floodplains and winding rivers, before heading to the East Alligator River for a cultural cruise hosted by local Indigenous guides, sharing insight into traditional land management and regional stories.
Please note: maximum passenger weight limits apply to all scenic or transfer flights. Due to seasonal weather during March and April, the day's activities change: a visit to Nourlangie replaces Ubirr after the scenic flight, and the cruise takes place on Yellow Waters instead.
Afterwards, we explore Ubirr, one of Kakadu's most iconic rock art galleries, with two short walks available to view extraordinary Aboriginal rock art dating back thousands of years. We return to our accommodation to unwind before dinner.
Day 3
Mary River National Park Saltwater Crocodile Cruise & Darwin Return
We depart Kakadu along the Arnhem Highway, travelling through Mary River National Park to board a scenic cruise discovering vast floodplains and wetlands, home to one of the highest concentrations of saltwater crocodiles in the world.
Please note: due to seasonal weather during March and April, the renowned "Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise" replaces the Mary River cruise.
Afterwards, we pass through the agricultural hub of Humpty Doo before arriving back in Darwin, where our tour concludes.
