  International flights are generally not included. However, all local flights within the tour are included in the cost, unless otherwise specified. Please note there may be a weight restriction of 20 kg (44lbs) for checked bags on internal flights.

  Transportation methods include private bus, tricycle tuktuk, minivan, boat, ferry, walking, and plane.

  In Khao Sok, you can choose between a guided jungle trek or a peaceful canoe tour down the Sok River. In Koh Samui, an optional excursion to Angthong National Marine Park is available.

  The local currency is the Thai Baht. It is recommended to carry money using debit cards for ATM withdrawals (Visa and Mastercard networks are widely accepted). USD cash in new, good condition notes is recommended for emergencies. Carrying only cash is a high safety risk. Credit cards can be used in some upmarket establishments.

  Some hotels offer laundry facilities for a charge. It is suggested to bring non-polluting/biodegradable soap if you plan to do your own laundry.

  Single travelers on group trips are typically paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex at no extra cost. If you book the 'My Own Room' option, you will receive a single room for all night stops.

• What are the key safety tips and guidelines for travelers?

  It is strongly recommended to use a neck wallet or money belt for valuables, utilize hotel safety deposit boxes, and lock your luggage. Your Expedition Leader can adjust the itinerary for safety concerns. Use good judgment for optional activities and consider staying in small groups or taking taxis when out at night in major cities. Avoid protests, and participate in water-based activities only when accompanied by a guide.

• Are there any health considerations I should be aware of before traveling?

  Inoculations may be required, so please consult with your travel doctor well before departure for up-to-date medical travel information. It is recommended to carry a First Aid kit and hand sanitizers. Be aware that medical facilities may be remote at times, and leaders cannot administer drugs.
