  • Day 3

    Cefalù/Lipari

Travel to the Aeolian Islands, a small archipelago of volcanic lands known as "the pearls of Italy" for their intriguing natural formations. Named after Aeolus, the god of the winds, spend the next few days exploring pockets of this coastal paradise. Take a car and ferry to reach Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian Islands, and enjoy a free afternoon to explore. Opt to visit a local beach, or take another short ferry to see Vulcano's active crater.

  • Day 4

    Lipari

Enjoy a free morning in Lipari. Later, head out for an excursion to explore the beautiful islands of Panarea and Stromboli by boat. In the night breeze of the open sea, witness active Mount Stromboli's spectacular eruptions.

  • I would say overall I had a wonderful experience with G Adventures and the CEO made that special. The hotels were very average and need improvement, as a travel agent on a small group tour I would expect much better quality hotels in better locations especially as the age group here was a lot older. Please also consider using local city guides for the city orientation tours and make then slightly longer, I think this would add a lot to the quality of the tour. I would be very careful in recommending G Adventure purely based on the accommodation provided. The hotels used on our tour were all over the place, some were excellent and a lot were very average and not in great locations
