Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Great Ocean Road, 12 Apostles & Rainforest Adventure

    Melbourne - Great Otway National Park - Halls Gap. Today, you will be collected from the Immigration Museum at 7:35 AM as we set off from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road. This famous drive offers dramatic coastal scenery and leads us to the striking limestone stacks known as the 12 Apostles.

    Our journey continues with a stop on the Surf Coast, where we enjoy morning tea and sweet treats at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie. From here, we travel inland to the Great Otway National Park to walk among towering ancient trees in its lush rainforest.

    We then make our way to the Shipwreck Coast, where we hear stories of its dramatic past. A visit to the secluded beach at Loch Ard Gorge is followed by more time to admire the impressive 12 Apostles from a viewpoint.

    Throughout the day, we also pause to observe native Australian wildlife before travelling onwards. By late evening, we arrive at our accommodation and settle in for the night.

    Meeting Point: Immigration Museum - 400 Flinders St, corner of Market St, Melbourne, before 07:35 AM.

    Please note: The itinerary may change due to weather or roadworks. Arrive 10 minutes early at your pickup location and wait outside the hotel to avoid delays or missing the tour.

  • Day 2

    Grampians Lookouts & Return to Melbourne

    Halls Gap - Grampians National Park - Melbourne. After breakfast, we head out to Boroka Lookout and then on to Reeds Lookout, also known as the Balconies, where sweeping views showcase the rugged landscapes of the Grampians National Park. This region is not only a place of striking natural beauty but also holds deep significance in Aboriginal culture. As we explore, we may encounter native wildlife including kangaroos and emus, and the park’s waterfalls and walking tracks offer a real sense of its unspoilt wilderness.

    In the afternoon, we return to Melbourne, reflecting on two remarkable days spent discovering the coastline and the mountain ranges inland, arriving back in the city after 5.30 pm.

    Drop-off point: Immigration Museum - 400 Flinders St, corner of Market St, Melbourne at approximately 5:30 PM.
