On arrival into Rovaniemi Airport, you'll be met and transferred to the breathtaking Vaatunki Wilderness Resort. Take time to explore the arctic wilderness surrounding the resort or relax and prepare for the adventure ahead as you settle into your accommodation, an aurora cabin igloo.

Today you’ll experience a true taste of Arctic life with a combined Husky and Reindeer Experience. You’ll be greeted by your guides before setting off to meet two of Lapland’s most iconic animals. First, you’ll enjoy a gentle reindeer sleigh ride through the snowy surroundings, allowing you to relax as your reindeer leads you across the winter landscape.

Next, it’s time for an exciting husky adventure. You’ll be introduced to a team of energetic Alaskan huskies before setting off on a short husky sled ride of around 800 metres, guided by an experienced musher. Along the way, you’ll learn how the dogs are trained and hear more about life in the Arctic from your English-speaking guide.

For those looking for an extra thrill, you may also choose to join the Snowmobiling Quick Spin afterwards. After a safety briefing and introduction, you’ll set off across snowy trails, taking in the vast white landscapes of the Arctic wilderness while riding your own snowmobile or sharing with a partner.

Today marks the end of your time in the arctic wonderland of Rovaniemi. A departure transfer will be provided to take you back to Rovaniemi Airport.
