Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Fethiye to St. Nicholas Island

Fethiye - Samanlik Bay - Butterfly Valley - Ölüdeniz - St Nicholas Island. Once you have arrived in Fethiye, make your way to the Fethiye harbour. Our journey begins with departure from Fethiye Harbour between 11:00 and 12:00, heading towards Samanlik Bay, where we will enjoy lunch. Next, if sea conditions allow, we visit Butterfly Valley, renowned for its natural beauty and home to 136 species of butterflies and moths.

We'll continue to Ölüdeniz, commonly known as the Blue Lagoon, if sea conditions permit. Here, you have the option to experience paragliding over the Blue Lagoon. Our day concludes at St. Nicholas Island, where you can explore the ruins of a Byzantine settlement as the sun sets. We will then spend the night aboard the gulet.

Please note: Gulet itineraries are subject to change without notice. The captain of the craft will decide the program at the time.

  • Day 2

    Kas and Kekova Region Expedition

St Nicholas Island - Firnaz Bay - Kas - Bay near Kekova. Today, we will set off around sunrise towards Firnaz Bay, near Kalkan, for breakfast, and you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Our journey then takes us to the scenic harbour of Kas, once known as ancient Antiphellos. Here, you can explore the village's quaint charm and its remnants of history, including Lycian rock tombs, sarcophagi, and a well-preserved Roman theatre. We will spend the night anchored in a bay near Kekova.

  • Day 3

    The Sunken City and Simena

Bay near Kekova - Kekova - Simena - Gokkaya Bay. This morning, we set off to explore the mystical Sunken City of Kekova. This fascinating Lycian-Roman archaeological site is submerged and protected, and you will be able to enjoy views from the gulet cruise.

Next, we visit Simena, a charming Turkish fishing village inaccessible by car, featuring an impressive Byzantine and Ottoman castle. We'll climb to the castle's summit for breathtaking views of the ancient city below. From the heights, you'll see a solitary Lycian sarcophagus standing on its pedestal in the bay, accentuated by a theatre dramatically carved into the surrounding rock.

After we will make our way to Gokkaya Bay, where you can partake in optional water sports if you wish to add adventure to the day.

  • Day 4

Pirates Cave & Return to Shore

After our final breakfast, we’ll take in the sights of Pirates Cave before cruising to Demre’s Andriake Harbour, where we disembark around 10:30 AM. Once you have disembarked, make your way to the airport for your onward flight.
