Welcome to Munich! This morning, we'll meet at the hotel with our tour leader for an orientation tour of the city. Discover Munich's unique blend of modern industry and charming tradition, where sleek BMWs share the streets with historic landmarks and traditional beer halls. Consider joining an optional excursion led by a local guide to delve deeper into Munich's cultural and historical attractions. This evening, join your tour leader and fellow travellers for a three-course dinner at a traditional restaurant, offering a taste of authentic German cuisine.

Munich - Mondsee (Austria) - Melk - Vienna. Our journey begins as we leave Germany and head to Austria, with our first destination being Vienna. En route, we'll pause at the charming lakeside town of Mondsee. Here, you can explore Mondsee Abbey, famously featured in the film *The Sound of Music.

Next, we'll visit the picturesque town of Melk, where we'll enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Melk Abbey. Marvel at the spectacular Baroque architecture and take in the views of the Danube River. Following the tour, we will savour an included lunch.

Later in the afternoon, we'll arrive in Vienna and embark on a combined walking and driving tour. We'll be captivated by the city’s stunning architecture and explore its rich musical and artistic heritage, discovering the legacies of Vienna's iconic cultural figures.

Vienna - Budapest (Hungary). After breakfast, we travel to Budapest, Hungary's captivating capital situated on both banks of the Danube River. Renowned for its Baroque, Neoclassical, and Art Nouveau architecture, the city offers remarkable beauty. On arrival, we embark on a guided driving tour to admire Budapest in its full glory. View the stunning Hungarian Parliament Building and enjoy a picturesque drive along the river. This afternoon, you have time to explore the city at your own pace. For an unforgettable evening, consider a dinner cruise on the Danube River.

Budapest - Bratislava (Slovakia) - Prague (Czech Republic). Today, we delve into the heart of Central Europe, beginning with a visit to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Here, you'll take a guided orientation tour, exploring the city's historic landmarks and vibrant atmosphere. We then continue our journey to Prague, famous for its cobblestone streets, ancient chapels, and stunning architecture.

Upon arrival in Prague, embark on a guided city tour led by a knowledgeable local. Together, we will uncover the highlights of this remarkable city. In the evening, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, indulging in authentic Czech cuisine to celebrate our first night in this enchanting city.

Make the most of a free day to further explore the allure of Prague. Revisit yesterday's highlights or join our Prague+ excursion with your tour leader to explore Prague Castle and enjoy a cruise on the Vltava River. For those interested in local cuisine, the city's many beer halls offer a variety of regional brews. This evening, you have the option to immerse yourself in traditional Czech culture at the Folk Music & Dance Evening.

Prague - Nuremberg (Germany) - Munich. Farewell, Prague! Today, we travel back to Munich, stopping in Nuremberg, Bavaria's historic gem and second-largest city. There, we'll explore its charming streets and admire the architecture, much of which was meticulously rebuilt after WWII. Don't miss the chance to sample the city's renowned dark beer before we continue our journey.

Upon arrival in Munich, we'll check in to the hotel, and you'll have free time for the evening. As it's our final night on tour, take the opportunity to explore Munich's vibrant city centre or join the group for a memorable farewell dinner. The choice is yours!
