Summary

Can't decide where to go in Morocco? Why not do both? We've got 17 epic days across the deserts, medinas and cities of Morocco.

Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Once you arrive at your hotel you'll have the day to roam, meet with the group and set off to discover your first taste of Morocco

  • Day 2

    Marrakech

This morning we'll start at Jardin Majorelle. Once we've had a group photo in all the iconic spots we'll head over to Jemaa el-Fna, the main square in Marrakech. In the evening we'll go out for a group dinner overlooking Jemaa el-Fna - it looks even more magical at night!

  • Day 3

    Marrakech/Boumalne Dades

Today is a big travel day and the views on this journey will be INSANE! The final stop of the day will be in the Monkey Fingers Valley - it's a really amazing spot to finish the journey with! Once we arrive to Boumalne Dades, we'll soak in the views, drop off our bags in the epic rooms and then head down for a group dinner at our hotel!

  • Day 4

    Boumalne Dades/Merzouga

We're heading to Todra Gorge, one of Morocco's must-see areas. It’s like something out of Indiana Jones, although luckily for us, there’ll be no giant boulder chasing us today…well not one that we know of, at least... After we've explored the Gorge, we're heading to our next destination - Merzouga. This is what we've all been waiting for - we're heading to the desert! This afternoon we've got some time to chill. Your tour guide will have plenty of suggestions, so whether you want to do some exploring on foot or just want to relax closer to the hotel, you'll be spoilt for choice. Luckily for us, the Sahara desert is only a short walk away...we're talking literally only a couple of minutes - get ready for a dreamy desert sunset!

  • Day 5

    Merzouga

First up, we will have a chilled morning, have a lie-in, have a swim and take the day at a slower pace! Then, chakras at the ready for an epic sandboarding experience in the heart of the desert. Want to know the best part of today? Well, it's got to be our sleepover on the sand dunes - and we're getting there via Camel (beats Uber any day!) We'll head over to the campsite, meet the locals who are hosting us for the night and settle into our temporary, magical home! After a super busy and exciting day, we’ll get ready for an evening of good food, drumming (of course...) and lots of star-gazing. Trust us - you have NEVER seen stars like these!

Remember to pack an overnight bag for our evening in the desert! You won't need much, just the bare essentials and some spare clothes for the morning :)

  • Day 6

    Merzouga/Aït Ben Haddou

After a night in the desert, we’ll have a stunning morning watching the sunrise and pinching ourselves cause surely this isn't real life!? What could be better than getting back to basics with a night in the desert, surrounded by amazing people and even better views? Sadly, though, we can't stay here forever, so we'll move on to our next stop: Ait Ben Haddou. It's an iconic landscape that has been used in countless famous films and series such as Game of Thrones, so get your cameras at the ready for some epic photos tomorrow...

  • Day 7

    Aït Ben Haddou

Today is an early start as we’re off to the heart of Ait Ben Haddou! This fortified village has been used as a filming location for Game Of Thrones, The Mummy and Gladiator. A great place to spend an hour getting lost amongst the pretty alleys and castle-like buildings. Then we're off to our next epic location, and it's not a journey you want to nap on! Look at the epic views as we cross the Tichka Pass and get some awesome photos along the way. We told you that Morocco is a photographer's dream! We'll arrive in Imlil in the afternoon and soak in the views and the sun from our amazing hotel!

  • Day 8

    Marrakech

We’re going back to where it all began! We’ll have a chilled morning before travelling back to Marrakech. Back in the hustle and bustle we'll enjoy a final wander around the markets and soak in the incredible atmosphere. You'll also get a chance to experience some things you might have missed the first time around. In the evening, we will learn how to make the traditional cuisine we have been trying all week at a local cooking class. Whether you have been desperate to know how to make the perfect tagine or you want to find out the secret to Chermoula this is your chance to find out!

  • Day 9

    Marrakech

Whether you have your eye on some shopping in the medina, a trip to the spa or you just want to unwind on a roof top overlooking all the wonderful chaos, today is up to you! Your group will all meet in the evening, you'll get a run down of the second half of this amazing tour!

  • Day 10

    Marrakech/Rabat

We’re off to Morocco’s coastal capital! Discover Rabat’s culture and hotspots, including the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of the Udayas, a photographer’s dream with its blue-and-white streets and charming cafes

  • Day 11

    Rabat/Tangier

Hop on the fast train to Tangier. Explore Hercules Cave with its legendary ties and Africa-shaped opening, then enjoy a guided Kasbah tour with breathtaking views over the Strait of Gibraltar

  • Day 12

    Chefchaouen

Arrive in the iconic blue city of Chefchaouen. Wander the winding streets with a local guide, uncover hidden gems, snap photos at the best spots, and soak up the medina at your leisure with mint tea in hand.

  • Day 13

    Chefchaouen

A free day to explore Chefchaouen at your pace - shop, w.ander, try a local workshop, or just relax. End the day at the top sunset viewpoint for a panoramic view over the blue city

  • Day 14

    Fès

Travel to Fes with a stop at Volubilis, one of North Africa’s best-preserved Roman sites. Continue to Fes, a city bursting with color, history, and the world’s largest car-free medina.

  • Day 15

    Fès

Dive into Fes’s medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Madrasa Bou Inania, Nejjarine Fountain, the pottery quarter, weaving cooperatives, and the iconic tanneries. History, craft, and chaos collide!

  • Day 16

    Fès/Casablanca

Swap the alleys for Morocco’s modern buzz in Casablanca. Marvel at the oceanfront Hassan II Mosque, stroll the Corniche, explore Mohammed V Square, and wander the vibrant Houbous Quarter.

  • Day 17
