Danube Delights Budapest to Prague - 5 Days

Upon your arrival in Budapest, we'll ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel, giving you some leisurely time to rest or explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, you can find details about the start of your adventure on the information boards located at the hotel reception. Take this opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Hungary's capital, whether that’s enjoying a coffee in a local café or taking a stroll through the city’s captivating streets. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.

At 11:30 a.m., we embark on our guided tour, starting with a visit to the vibrant Váci utca, where you’ll find plenty of options for lunch during your free time. Afterwards, join us on a scenic boat ride along the Danube River, flanked by historic Buda on one side and cosmopolitan Pest on the other, offering unparalleled views of this stunning cityscape. Following the river cruise, we’ll continue with a panoramic exploration of Budapest – famously dubbed the "Queen of the Danube." You’ll have some free time after the tour to explore further at your leisure. In the evening, there is an optional excursion available to enjoy a traditional Magyar show, complete with dinner, if you wish.

On the third day, we will set off early from Budapest towards Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Known for its picturesque setting along the Danube, Bratislava boasts a charming historic centre, which you'll have time to explore and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Later, we will continue our journey into the Czech Republic and arrive in Prague by evening. Upon arrival, we will provide a transfer to the Old Town Square, a vibrant hub that offers a perfect introduction to Prague’s lively atmosphere. Here, you may choose to dine at one of the many restaurants available, featuring a wide array of international cuisines, including traditional Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian options. After your evening in the square, we will return to the hotel to conclude the day.

Today, we delve into the enchanting city of Prague, revered as a Baroque masterpiece in Europe. Our day begins with a guided panoramic tour, where a local expert will introduce you to the city's most iconic landmarks. Included in this tour is a visit to the majestic Prague Castle, where you can immerse yourself in the history and architecture of this impressive site. Following this, we’ll take to the water for a serene boat journey on the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of Prague’s stunning skyline. The afternoon is yours to discover the city at your own pace – whether you choose to wander the charming streets, visit local cafes, or explore more historical sites, the choice is yours.

On the fifth day, after enjoying breakfast, our tour concludes in the stunning city of Prague. As you reflect on the incredible experiences and lasting memories from our journey together, you're free to explore more of this enchanting city's charms at your own pace.
