Itinerary
Day 1
Colombo to Kandy
Colombo - Kandy. Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to Kandy, the last Sinhalese kingdom’s capital.
Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist sites, followed by a tour of the historic Geragama Tea Factory, known for producing ‘Low Grown’ and ‘Long Leaf’ teas since 1903. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan cultural performance featuring music and dance.
Please note: For a smooth start to the tour, clients should arrive on Day 1 on an early morning flight between 05:00 am and 08:00 am. Alternatively, we recommend booking a pre-night stay in Colombo - please contact us to arrange this.
Day 2
Beaches of Bentota
Kandy - Bentota. Begin your morning with a visit to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, celebrated as one of Asia’s finest. Then journey to Bentota, a breathtaking sandy beach that captures the essence of a tropical paradise, offering peace, natural beauty, and pristine surroundings. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to explore and relax.
On day 3, you will enjoy a full day at leisure in Bentota, where you can do as little or as much as you'd like.
Unwind on the golden sandy beaches or take part in exciting water sports like jet skiing and snorkeling. Explore local attractions such as the Brief Garden, a beautifully landscaped retreat, or visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation. For a more relaxing experience, indulge in a traditional Ayurvedic massage or spa treatment, and savour fresh seafood at one of the charming beachfront restaurants.
Day 4
Colombo City Tour
Bentota - Colombo. After breakfast, you’ll head back to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital with a rich history dating back to the fifth century. Once a key port in East-West sea trade, Colombo has grown into a bustling modern city known for its vibrant streets, diverse restaurants, and contemporary shopping malls.
Enjoy a city tour that includes the historic Fort area, famous for its government buildings and unique shops, a visit to the stunning Gangaramaya Temple, and a leisurely stroll along Galle Face Green — a popular spot for kite flying and cricket.
You will then be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
Please note: For departures on Day 4, late evening flights after 10:00 PM are recommended, or alternatively, contact us to book post-tour accommodation.
