Itinerary
Day 1
Alice Springs to Uluru
Alice Springs - Yulara - Uluru Kara Tjuta National Park. Today, you will be picked up from your pre tour accommodation in Alice Springs before we set off towards Uluru. Along the way, we pause at the Mt Connor lookout, a striking flat-topped mountain often mistaken for Uluru, and make a short stop at Curtin Springs. After lunch, we will have more travellers joining our tour from Yulara and Ayers Rock.
In the afternoon, we visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn about the stories, traditions, and environment of the Red Centre. From there, we begin our exploration of Uluru on a base walk, discovering ancient rock art, sacred waterholes such as Mutitjulu, and hearing the Aboriginal stories of Kuniya the python and Liru the venomous snake. We also visit Kantju Gorge, where a seasonal waterfall flows, and natural food sources have sustained people for generations.
We finish the day watching the colours of Uluru shift at sunset before sharing dinner together with our fellow travellers.
Please note: You will need to arrive in Alice Springs the day before the tour begins. The itinerary and route may be adjusted in response to seasonal weather conditions or park closures due to traditional landowner ceremonies.

As the first light spreads across the rock, we take in the remarkable colours and the quiet beauty of this sacred place.
We then travel on to Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas, a striking series of ancient, dome-shaped formations. Here we walk through either the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge, both offering impressive views and a chance to fully appreciate the scale and atmosphere of this extraordinary landscape.
After a meal back at our camp, we continue our journey to the Kings Canyon region. We arrive in time to enjoy another spectacular outback sunset before ending the day with a traditional campfire dinner
