Summary
Wander through Cappadocia’s valleys and fairy chimneys on this 4-day tour, starting and ending in Cappadocia. The sightseeing opens at Esentepe and continues to Uchisar Castle, seen from below, before the Goreme Open Air Museum and Ortahisar Castle. Next come the Pasabag Fairy Chimneys and Devrent Valley. From here, the tour takes in Pigeon Valley and Red Valley, with visits to cave churches and an underground city, before continuing to Cavusin village. It ends in Avanos, where travellers learn about handmade pottery.
Itinerary
Day 1
Cappadocia
On arrival, we meet you and transfer to Cappadocia – an extraordinary national treasure and a jewel in Turkey’s illustrious crown.
Day 2
Esentepe, Uchisar Castle, Goreme, Ortahisar, Pasabag Fairy Chimneys & Devrent Valley
We begin at Esentepe, then continue to Uchisar Castle, which we admire from below – entrance and the steep, challenging ascent are not included. We explore the Goreme Open Air Museum and Ortahisar Castle, then marvel at the Pasabag Fairy Chimneys before finishing in Devrent Valley.
Day 3
Pigeon Valley, Red Valley, Cavusin & Avanos
This morning, we take in Pigeon Valley and Red Valley, visit cave churches, then continue to an underground city. We go on to Cavusin village and end in Avanos, where we learn about handmade pottery.
Day 4
Cappadocia
We transfer you to the airport – our services conclude.
