Summary
Discover the valleys, castles and fairy chimneys of Cappadocia on this 3-day tour, starting and ending in Cappadocia. Sightseeing begins at Esentepe before Uchisar Castle, viewed from below, the Goreme Open Air Museum and Ortahisar Castle. The Pasabag Fairy Chimneys and Devrent Valley follow. Next come Pigeon Valley and Red Valley, with visits to cave churches and an underground city, before Cavusin village. The tour closes in the town of Avanos, where travellers learn about handmade pottery, ahead of the final transfer to the airport.
Itinerary
Day 1
Esentepe, Uchisar Castle, Goreme, Ortahisar, Pasabag Fairy Chimneys & Devrent Valley
We pick up from Kayseri or Nevsehir airport – latest 8.30 am – or from your hotel in Cappadocia at 9 am. Our first stop is Esentepe, then we visit Uchisar Castle, the Goreme open air museum and Ortahisar Castle. Afterwards we continue to the Pasabag fairy chimneys, followed by Devrent Valley.
Please note – due to the steep and challenging climb, entry to the castle and the ascent to the top are not included; we visit from below, offering stunning views and photo opportunities without the need to enter or climb.
Day 2
Pigeon Valley, Red Valley, Cavusin & Avanos
This morning we head to Pigeon Valley and then Red Valley. After visiting cave churches, we continue to an underground city, then Cavusin village, and lastly Avanos town, where we learn about handmade pottery.
Day 3
Cappadocia
After breakfast we transfer you to the airport – our services conclude.
