Arrive in Naples and head directly to your hotel for check-in. Afterwards, you can take the opportunity to explore the captivating streets of this historic city at your own pace. Naples, with its rich history and vibrant atmosphere, offers a perfect introduction to southern Italy's unique charm.

Naples - Sorrento - Positano - Amalfi - Naples. This morning, we leave Naples for a full day along the Amalfi Coast, stopping often for photos as the road winds along the cliffs. We start at a Limoncello factory, then you have an hour free to explore Sorrento's streets however you like.

Next is Positano, where you can wander its narrow alleys or relax with a drink by the sea.

We finish in Amalfi, the liveliest town on the coast. You can visit St. Andrew's Cathedral or grab a gelato by the water before we head back to Naples for the night.

Naples - Capri - Naples. Today, we take the hydrofoil across to Capri, starting with a walk through the quieter streets of Anacapri before reaching the lively Piazzetta. We visit the Augustus Gardens, with views out to the Faraglioni rocks.

You then have free time in Anacapri to spend as you like - the Church of San Michele is worth considering if you want something more structured (at an additional cost), or you can simply wander the lanes and gardens.

We sail back to Naples in the evening. We spend the night in Naples.

In the morning, we set off on an approximately 3-hour walking tour of Naples. We start at the seafront, with views over the Bay of Naples towards Capri and Mount Vesuvius, before heading into the city's oldest neighbourhood. Here, we visit the Gesù Nuovo church and the Santa Chiara monastery, and follow the Spaccanapoli, the street running through this part of the city lined with Baroque and Renaissance buildings, cafés, shops and pizzerias.

We then head underground to Neapolis Sotterrata, the ancient Roman ruins beneath the city. . Back above ground, we continue to the monumental area to see Castel Nuovo, the 13th-century castle, along with the Royal Palace, Teatro di San Carlo and the 19th-century Galleria Umberto shopping arcade. We spend the night in Naples.

After your final breakfast, depending on your departure flight, you might have some time to pick up some last-minute souvenirs, grab a coffee or relax before making your way to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
