  In Asia, the dress standard is more conservative. Pack loose, lightweight, long clothing that will keep you cool in the usually hot and humid climate. When visiting temples, mosques, or other holy sites, please dress respectfully and avoid very short shorts/skirts and singlets/tank tops.

In cities at night, stay in small groups and take taxis. For water-based activities, only participate when accompanied by a guide(s).
