Best of the Balkans: Dubrovnik to Athens - 10 Days

Arrive in Dubrovnik, explore this amazing city and settle in to your hostel. This evening, grab dinner with your Local Legend and fellow travellers. The adventure starts here.

Today we'll cross into Montenegro and travel through the stunning Bay of Kotor, stopping for lunch by the Adriatic. In Budva, explore the Old Town’s ancient walls and waterfront before heading for dinner with your group

Jump in a kayak and explore Montenegro’s coastline, weaving through secret coves and past towering cliffs to the famous Blue Cave. Spend the afternoon on the beach, then head back for dinner and drinks

Say goodbye to Montenegro, with one last photo stop at the iconic Sveti Stefan before crossing into Albania. Our first stop in Shkodër is Rozafa Castle, perched on a hilltop with sweeping views over Lake Shkodër and the Buna and Drin Rivers. Then we'll explore the city on a walking tour: think historic architecture, traditional cafés and local shops.

Head into Theth National Park and visit the old church and Lock-in Tower before hiking through mountain villages and wild valleys to the dazzling Blue Eye. Cool off at Grunas Waterfall, then return to Shkodër for dinner.

This morning we're travelling to Albania’s colourful capital. Once we check-in, your Local Legend will take you on a walking tour through Skanderbeg Square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, the New Bazaar and the city’s brightly painted streets.

Today we're heading south towards the coast, stopping for lunch and to see an viewpoint overlooking the Ionian Sea. We'll arrive in Sarandë in the afternoon, check in and chill, then end the day with a sunset stroll along the waterfront before dinner. Albania's coast line is stunning and still SO underrated so we'll make the most of this hidden gem and raise an aperol to our amazing time so far!

Of course we're spending today one of Albania's most stunning beaches, swimming in the Ionian Sea and lunching by the shore. As the sun drops, we'll hop aboard a catamaran to cruise the coastline, swim and snorkel in the calm evening water, and watch the sky light up. What a perfect way to end our time in Albania.

It's an early start for our final journey, this we're going all the way to Athens. When we arrive in the afternoon we'll head out to explore and then get ready for the farewell dinner!
