Bali Experience - 10 Days

Arrive at Denpasar airport and head to the hotel. You can relax by the pool/beach or explore Canggu before we enjoy a rooftop dinner and drinks in the evening where you will meet the rest of your group.

Today we explore the culture of Bali as we head to two of it’s most famous temples – Tanah Lot which is set on a rock formation in the sea; and the Royal Temple of Taman Ayun. In the evening we have the opportunity to take in the sunset on one of Canggu’s coolest beaches before a big night out on the town in Canggu.

Grab your board and hit the beach, it’s time for a surf lesson on the famous Kuta Beach. Our excellent local instructors will teach you the basics. You'll be standing up in no time, fingers crossed... After a day on the water, we’ll head back to Canggu to explore a little more or just relax for the afternoon. This evening, we'll watch the sunset, cocktail in hand, recounting the day’s surfing stories.

We're off to Ubud! Famous for its rice paddies, temples, shrines and, of course, monkeys. On our way, we’ll stop to cool off at the beautiful Tegenungan waterfall. Once we have arrived in Ubud we'll explore the town and take in the sights, the open-air market here is a must visit!

Ready to see where the locals of Ubud do their weekly shop? This morning we'll head out of central Ubud to the markets offering the freshest ingredients Bali has to offer. Then we’ll join Tru's long time friend, Wayan (and his amazing family) to cook a Balinese feast. With our bellies full, we’ll visit the famous sacred monkey forest. After an afternoon with these monkeys, it’s time to head back for dinner with your TruFam!

When you think of Bali, you'll most likely imagine a day like today! We'll trek through Ubud rice terraces and take a swig from a fresh coconut, all the while learning the importance of these amazing rice paddies. This afternoon, we'll visit Kintamani for of lunch overlooking the active volcano Mt. Batur. We’ll then head back to either chill by the pool or do some more shopping in the markets.

It’s time to head to the islands! We catch the bus/ferry over to the stunning tiny island of Gili Trawangan. We will check in to our tropical accommodation in the heart of the island for our final few days. Once there, we spend the afternoon having a beer & chilling by the pool or explore the many beaches that surround the island! Catch a beautiful sunset on the beach before heading out for dinner. Later it’s time to party! Explore Gili’s famous nightlife in the many beachside bars the island has to offer.

Ready for some island hopping? We're on a snorkelling adventure today around Gili Trawangan & Gili Meno, some of the best underwater spots in Indonesia! We'll spend the say jumping off the boat, visiting underwater statues and living our best lives. After a dreamy day we'll travel back to Gili T for an evening watching the sunset with a beer in hand!

Today we will explore the island on one of Gili’s only modes of transportation, push bike! Cycle around the island exploring different beaches, activities and take a small trek up the hill to see Gili’s only viewpoint and explore a bit of history with remnants of an old WWII bunker. Check out one last sunset before our farewell dinner and party to celebrate the best 10 days of your life!

Whether you’re on to explore some more islands or head back to the airport to catch a flight, we’ve got you covered! Please note that if you plan to fly home from Denpasar that day we recommend not booking a flight before 7pm to allow plenty of time to get back to the airport.
