Athens, Mykonos & Santorini Journey - 8 Days

On arrival in Athens, we are met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free to settle in, explore the local area, or enjoy a relaxed dinner. Athens, one of the world’s oldest cities, offers a striking mix of ancient landmarks and modern life.

We begin with a guided tour of Athens, taking in key landmarks such as the Panathenaic Stadium - the site of the first modern Olympic Games - the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, and the Greek Parliament in Syntagma Square, where the ceremonial guards stand watch.

We then visit the Acropolis, the ancient citadel that dominates the city skyline, followed by the Acropolis Museum, which houses important artefacts from this UNESCO-listed site. The afternoon is free for you to explore further or relax.

An early transfer takes you to Piraeus port for the ferry to Mykonos. On arrival, you are collected and taken to the hotel.

Later, you may wish to explore Mykonos Town, also known as Chora, with its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and waterfront setting. The old port and Little Venice - where buildings sit right on the sea - are particularly atmospheric.

Today is free to enjoy Mykonos at your own pace. You can wander through its maze-like streets, designed historically to confuse pirates, or relax by the sea. The island’s famous windmills offer great views over the town, while the distinctive Paraportiani Church, with its unique asymmetrical design, is a notable cultural landmark.

After a relaxed morning, transfer to the port for the ferry to Santorini. On arrival, you'll be taken to the hotel.

Later, you can visit Fira, the island’s capital, perched on the edge of the Caldera. From here, you’ll have sweeping views of the volcanic cliffs, the Aegean Sea, and Santorini’s iconic white buildings and blue-domed churches.

The day is free to experience Santorini as you wish. You might relax on its distinctive black sand beaches, explore cliffside villages, or take in the island’s renowned sunset views.

There is the option to join a half-day boat trip to the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni, where you can swim in natural hot springs. In the evening, you may choose to enjoy dinner along the Caldera rim, known for its dramatic setting.

After a leisurely morning, you transfer to the port for the return ferry to Athens. On arrival in Piraeus, continue to the hotel. The evening is free to unwind after your time on the islands.

Depending on your flight time, we transfer to Athens Airport for your departure.
