Travel from the Roman ruins of Mérida and the lively streets of Seville to the sun-drenched Costa del Sol before crossing to Tangier. Explore Morocco’s imperial cities—Fes, Marrakesh and Rabat—each bursting with history, souks and culture. Returning to Spain, you’ll discover Granada’s Alhambra, Toledo’s medieval charm and Madrid’s grand boulevards. Finish in Porto and Coimbra before visiting Fátima’s revered sanctuary. This incredible adventure blends Moorish heritage, Iberian beauty and Mediterranean spirit into one seamless, culture-rich experience.
Itinerary
Day 1
Lisbon to Seville
Lisbon – Mérida – Seville. We depart Lisbon at 7:30 a.m., crossing the Spanish border en route to Mérida. Enjoy free time to explore its remarkable archaeological complex, home to the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre – both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lunch at leisure before continuing along the historic Autovía de la Plata (Silver Route) towards Andalucía. Arrival in Seville.

Day 2
Exploring Seville’s Historic Highlights
After breakfast, we embark on a morning city tour, visiting María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the magnificent Cathedral and its Giralda bell tower, followed by a stroll through the charming Santa Cruz quarter, known for its narrow streets and picturesque squares. In your free time, you may wish to take an optional cruise on the Guadalquivir River for panoramic views of the Gold Tower and the Expo ’92 site, or visit the Maestranza bullring. Lunch at leisure. In the evening, you may also attend an optional flamenco show.
Day 3
The White Villages and Ronda
Seville – Ronda – Costa del Sol. After breakfast, we travel along the scenic Route of the White Villages, stopping in Ronda for free time to explore this beautiful town perched dramatically above a deep gorge. We then continue to the Costa del Sol.
Day 4
Crossing to Morocco
Costa del Sol – Tangier. We depart the Costa del Sol and board the ferry to Tangier, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar. On arrival in Morocco, we enjoy a guided panoramic tour of Tangier’s surroundings, including the Grottos of Hercules (entrance not included) and Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. Free time to explore or join an optional excursion to Tetouan.
Day 5
Tangier to Fez
Tangier – Volubilis – Meknès – Fez. After breakfast, we journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Fez. Our first stop is Volubilis to explore its Roman ruins, including the Decumanus Maximus, lined with elegant houses and ending at the 3rd-century Arch of Caracalla. We continue to Meknès, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the former capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail. Here, we visit the medina, El-Hedim Square and the splendid Bab Al-Mansour gate, famed as one of the most beautiful in Morocco. Arrival in Fez in the afternoon.
Day 6
Discovering the Imperial City of Fez
Breakfast followed by a full-day tour of Morocco’s oldest imperial city – the country’s spiritual and intellectual heart. We begin with a panoramic view before visiting the Royal Palace, with its seven ornate gates, and then enter the labyrinthine medina of Fez el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine Square, we trace centuries of history through bustling souks, artisan quarters, and ancient madrasas. Lunch in a traditional restaurant, then free afternoon to explore at your own pace.
Day 7
Fes to Casablanca
Fez – Casablanca – Marrakesh. After breakfast, we depart for Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Enjoy free time for lunch along the Corniche and admire the impressive Hassan II Mosque (exterior visit), built by more than 3,000 artisans. We continue to Marrakesh.
Day 8
Sights and Sounds of Marrakesh
Following breakfast, we explore Marrakesh, another of Morocco’s great imperial cities. We begin at the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, symbol of the city, before visiting the elegant 19th-century Bahia Palace. We then pass through the Jewish quarter (Mellah) and the Kissaria market area towards the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square – a UNESCO-listed cultural landmark alive with storytellers, musicians, and street performers.Continue through the souks to discover traditional workshops and a Berber apothecary offering argan-based remedies. Lunch in a typical restaurant and free time to explore independently.
Day 9
Rabat – The Capital of Morocco
Marrakesh – Rabat. After breakfast, we head to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital and official royal residence. Upon arrival, we visit the city’s highlights, including the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, guarded by royal sentinels in ceremonial attire.We also stroll through the picturesque Kasbah of the Oudayas and along the Bouregreg River. In the evening, enjoy a night tour of the city followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 10
Return to Spain
Rabat – Tangier – Costa del Sol. Breakfast and departure to Tangier to board the ferry back to Spain. Upon arrival, assistance and transfer to the Costa del Sol.
Day 11
The Wonders of Granada
Costa del Sol – Granada. After breakfast, we travel to Granada to visit the magnificent Alhambra and Generalife Gardens – former residence of the Nasrid kings, famed for their Moorish architecture, fountains, and floral courtyards.In the evening, you may opt to visit the Sacromonte caves and enjoy a traditional gypsy flamenco show.
Please Note:If, for any reason, the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife does not grant tickets for the requested dates, an alternative city tour of Granada will be arranged. This will include visits to the Palace of Charles V, the Archaeological Museum, the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, and the Royal Chapel, along with a walk through the Alcaicería (the old silk market) and the Cathedral Square.
Day 12
Toledo to Madrid
Granada – Toledo – Madrid. Breakfast and departure towards Toledo, the Imperial City rich in history and culture.After lunch, enjoy a panoramic view from the Mirador del Valle and a guided walk through the old town. We then continue to Madrid.
Day 13
Salamanca and Journey to Porto
Madrid – Salamanca – Porto. After breakfast, we depart for Salamanca, an ancient university city renowned for its golden sandstone buildings and beautiful Plaza Mayor. Enjoy free time to explore the historic centre before continuing to Porto.
Day 14
City of Bridges and Port Wine
Breakfast followed by a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Highlights include the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange Palace, and the Church of Santa Clara.The tour ends with a visit to a local wine cellar for a tasting of the world-famous Port wine. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 15
Coimbra, Fátima and Return to Lisbon
Porto – Coimbra – Fátima – Lisbon. After breakfast, we travel to Coimbra, home to one of Europe’s oldest universities and a birthplace of Portuguese fado. Free time to explore before continuing to Fátima, an important pilgrimage centre. Enjoy free time to visit the Basilica and Sanctuary before returning to Lisbon, where our journey concludes.
